good for Diabetic People...
Recipe...
Ingredients...
Oats.... 2 cup
Besan... About 3/4th cup to 1 cup as per taste..
Onion... 1 big Finely chopped
Tomato... 1 Big Finely chopped
Green Chillies ...2 Finely chopped
Dhania Leaves.. lots of ..atleast 1/2 cup Finely chopped
Red chilli powder... 1/2 tsp.
Haldi... 1/2 tsp.
Water ..as needed for batter
Oil.. as needed to shallow fry
Dhane n Jeera Powder... 1/2 tsp.
Salt ..as per taste
Carrot.. Grated 2 tabsps.
Vegetables like Palak , Cabbage , Capsicum ..or any veggies you like..only if you want to
add it.. Today I havent added it...
Method...
Soak Oats in some water for 15 minutes so it becomes soft...
Then add Besan in it.. Add finely chopped Onion n Tomato..Add Grated Carrot n any
veggies if you want..
Add Finely chopped Green chillies , dhania leaves , dhane n jeera powder , haldi , red
chilli powder , salt , mix it.. add water as needed to make batter.. batter shud be not very
thin or too thick .. keep it like Uttapa batter.
Then on Greased hot Tava spread it like Uttapa n a shallow fry it from both sides applying oil ..
Oats n Besan Chilla is ready to serve.
