My Thali.... Potato Red Spicy Sabji (Batata Saung ) , White Butter Beans ( Tingalora Beans Saar Upakari ) , Neer Phanas n Tigalora Sukke , Phulka , ....n.... Rice

  Batata Saung.. Recipe..  Boil the 4  potatoes in the cooker .. Remove skin.make pieces.  Chop 2 onions finely . Take 3 to 4 tabsps of coconut oil or any other oil in a pan. add chopped onions.fry till light brown . Add 1/2tsp.of haldi, 2 tabsps.of kashmiri red chilli powder,.add1 tabsp.of tamarind (imli)  juice. Add salt,as per taste...add pinch sugar if you like (this is optional)..fry for 2 minutes.. Add potato pieces..mix it..add little water ..boil  it till potatogets mixed with masala. Potato Saung is ready to serve. White Tingalora  or Butter Beans Saar Upakari Recipe..    Soak White Tingalora Beans over night. Cook Soaked Tingalora n some salt with water in pressure cooker till soft.. Then add 1 long choppped green chilli in it.. its optional. I have not added green chilli. Boil it nicely ..keep the consistency as you like.. it shud be not dry or very watery. Adjust salt as per taste. Make Tadka with coconut oil or any oil add lots of crushed garlic n whole red chillies..  add

My Thali... Sprouted Alsanda Ambat ( Black eyed Beans or White Chavli ) , Spicy Potato Jumping , Tomato Rasam , Tomato Goad Lonche or Hot n Sweet Tomato Chutney , Lal Bhopla Phodi or Red Pumpkin Fritters...n....Rice

   Sprouted Alsandya (Black Eyed Beans) Ambat... (Amti with coconut ground masala ) Recipe Soak 3 cups of black eyed beans in water for overnight,.next day remove water n keep in  warm place for sprouts.then again add water in it,.n remove skin of each bean.then cook  it with water n salt till it gets soft.n  well cooked...(you can cook it in pressure cooker for  only 1 whistle.) Roast and 10 to 15 methi seeds and 2-3red whole chillies in 1/4tsp of oil in a tadka pan Grind  1.1/2wati fresh coconut, small piece of chinch(tamarind),haldi, and above roasted  masala with some water.make fine paste..then add this  ground masala in the mixture of  well cooked beans. Add salt &mix well..boil it..  Make tadka of 1t to 2tabsps of oil,I use coconut oil..you can use any oil  add 1finely chopped onion,.fry till brown.and add in the curry.. My Sunday Thali.... Malvani Mutton Curry , Onion Shalgam Salad , Ghadichya polya , ..n...Rice.

  Malvani Mutton Curry.. Recipe.. Marinate Muton pieces with haldi,salt,Green masala with lots of garlic dhania leaves n Green chillies,.. In some oil..Fry long cut onions, Fresh grated coconut n little of sukha grated  Khopra,(dry coconut )  Then Fry in few drops of oil ..whole garam masala dry  dhania  seeds,jeera,lavang,dalchini,black pepper,saunf,),add grated ginger n Grated garlic ginger,  n some dhania leaves....then grind it..  In cooker add oil,put Malvani Masala.(which is red masala of red chillies,  All mixed whole garam masala in powder form)}.. then add some finely chopped onions,tomato fry till soft.  add ground masala fry ..then add marinated Muton  fry for few minutes,..then add water  & cook it.. You can add 1 Tomato pieces in it while cooking..its optional. Malvani Mutton is ready to serve. Garnish with dhania leaves n serve with Bhakri or Rotis .. Today I made Ghadichya Polya  to serve with Malvani Mutton Curry.

My Thali...Poori Bhaji ... Potato Bhaji or Rassa with some change..so tasty served with Hot Pooris., Takachi Kadhi.( Buttermilk Kadhi ) , n fresh Mango Pickle.

    Takachi Kadhi.. (Butter Milk Kadhi )....  recipe... Mix 2 tabsps of Besan in 2 to 3 cups of Buttermilk.. Make tadka with Ghee ,some Rai, Jeera, methi seeds , 2 lavang , currypatta, whole red  chilli, hing n Haldi.. then add paste of green chilli n small ginger piece..  Then add mixture of Buttermilk n Besan.. Add some sugar n salt as per taste..boil it ...keep stirring it till boil.. or it might curdle.. Add some dhania leaves..garnish it n serve. Potato Bhaji or Rassa with some change.. Watermelon rind Dosa... Panpole or Neer Dosa with White Part of Watermelon.With Garlic n Coconut Chutney.

  Watermelon rind Dosa... Panpole or Neer Dosa with White Part of Watermelon . Watermelon Rind Dosa is our traditional dosa recipe.  Watermelon rind means the white part which is between red sweet watermelon part n  green rind of watermelon. Watermelon white  rind is completely edible, similar to the  red part... Recipe... Ingredients... Rice...1 cup Fresh Grated Coconut.. 1/2 cup. White Part of Watermelon Rind.. Sugar.. 1 tsp.(optional ) Salt.. as per taste. Water...as needed. Oil..For Frying Dosa.. Method.. For this Neer Dosa...soak Rice for 4 to 5 hours. we have to grind soaked rice with fresh grated coconut n white watermelon rind with salt  n pinch of sugar ( optional ) .keep the batter thin.. My Simple Thali... Zatpat Chana Masala... No frying masalas , Brown Chana Saar , Tadka Dal , Red Pumpkin Raita, Phulka ...n...Rice

 Zatpat Chana Masala...  No frying masalas  Recipe.. In a pressure cooker take soak brown chana add finely chopped onions,finely chopped tomatoes, green chillies, dhania leaves,  dhania powder,haldi, red chilli powder,little pepper powder, garam masala powder, Add little sugar (optional), grated or paste of ginger ,garlic .. add salt as per taste. heat atleast 2t-3 tabsp oil & add it in it..mix it nicely. add some water.. then Switch on the gas..& cook it for 4to 5 whistles..then on low flame  for 10minutes..till chana gets well cooked .Garnish with Dhania leaves.  chana masala is ready to serve,.. Brown Chana  Saar. Recipe... Cook Whole soaked Brown Chana in pressure cooker. Then strain all the water from it.. Take this boiled chana water in a pot.  Add green chilles n crushed garlic , salt n kokum  Then keep it for boiling. Add salt in this..add litle of gud as per taste. (Optional ). My Fish Thali.... Mangalorian Tulu Styled Fish Curry , Tarle (Saradines ) Fish Tikhle or Amshe Tikhshe , Natholi (Anchovies ) and Prawns Fry....n.... Rice

 Mangalorian Tulu Styled Fish Curry.. Recipe.. Clean n wash Saradines or any other fish like Bangda, Pomfret, Prawns ,King fish or Black  Pomfret...I have used Saradines in this curry. Apply some salt n keep it aside. In a pan dry roast 1 to 1n1/2 tabsp.of Dhania seeds., 8 t o 10 methi seeds,pinch Rai, 5to 6  black pepper..after roasting few minutes add 1/4 tsp Jeera, n 1/4 sp.Ajwain..,add red  whole chillies 4 or as per taste..dont roast too much..just till nice aroma. Then Grind fresh grated Coconut with above roasted masala, haldi, n imli (tamarind), 1/4  onion , 5to 6 garlic.. Make very fine paste. Keep it for boiling with adding more water..add remaining long cut  onion , some ginger long pieces.,and 2 chopped green chillies add salt..  Boil curry mixture for 10 minutes till all gets well mixed n onions and other things get  well cooked. This curry tastes more aromatic when you boil it for more time..keep the  curry medium thick..not too thick. Then add fish pieces in curry n boil

White Dhokla with Coconut Green Chutney For Breakfast.....

  White Dhokla with Coconut Green Chutney For Breakfast..... Recipe....White Dhokla ....Instead of making regular Idlis with same batter I made White Dhokla.. Ingredients... I Soaked 1 Cup of Udid dal for 3 hours..  then ground it in a fine matter like idli batter  then added 1n 1/2 cup of Idli Rawa in it..  kept it for fermentation for 4 to 5 hours then added 1 tabsp.dahi .then added some green  chilli n ginger paste in it.. n added 1tsp Ino n little sugar.mix it properly.. spread  it in a greased thali..sprinkled chilli  powder n pepper powder on it. steamed for 10 to 12 minutes. then added tadka with oil, rai, currypatta, green  chillies , til, n hing. . garnished with dhania leaves.n served it with  green chutney.  Thodasa Dish me twist laya!!!

My Thali...Mashroom Chilli Fry , Cauliflower n dal Ambat (Curry ) , Baby Potato Jumping ...n....Rice.

  Mashooms Chilli Fry.......  Recipe....   Clean n wash the 2 cups of Mashrooms.. Make round pieces of it. In a pan take little more of  3 to 4 tabsps.oil.. add finely chopped 2 medium Onions ..  add 1tab sp of fresh grated Garlic.. add 1/2 tab sp.of Fresh Grated Ginger.. Saute for few  minutes..  then add 1  Finely chopped Tomato..add 3 to 4 Green chillies chopped.. you  can add more if you want spicy..  then saute  till all gets well mixed n Tomatoes get soft. Then add 1/2tsp. Of Haldi , 1/2 to 1 tsp.of Red chilli powder as per taste, add 1tsp.of  Dhania powder , salt as per taste.. ..saute till all mixture gets well Mixed..  Then add Cooked Mashroom rings in it.. n cover it n cook it for few minutes till all  masala gets well mixed with Mashrooms.. and Mashroom gets cooked..  Garnish with Dhania leaves .. Mashroom Chilli Fry is ready to  serve with Roti or Rice.  Cauliflower n Dal Ambat.. (Curry ) Recipe.. Boil big10 to 15 pieces of cauliflower pieces with some salt and water.  Cook

My Thali... Bharali Vangi ( Stuffed Brinjals ) , French Beans Koshimbir, Kulith Pithi Pithle ...n...Rice.

  Bharali Vangi (stuffed brinjals).... recipe... Give cross slits to Small Vangi(brinjals) 250gms.. fry finely cut onions 2 in oil till it becomes soft.. In a bowl Mix  chopped onions,  grated fresh coconut 2tabsps.in..add Goda masala 1tabsp.  Add roasted groundnut powder 2tabsps.(optional),Gud,Chinch (imli) juice,salt, chilli  powder 1\2 tsp. Add Finely Chopped Green chillies 1 or 2, dhania leaves.. Mix well.stuff this masala in Brinjals. In a pan add oil,rai,hing,haldi..add brinjals in the tadka..stir for few seconds.. Add little water to cook..keep lid & cook it till brinjals get cooked.. Serve with chapati,bhakri,or rice..(if you dont have goda masala you can use,garam  masala, malvani masala, or amti powder) Kulith Pithi che Pithle... Kulith Pithi che Pithle... Maharashtrian Dish.. Very Healthy n Tastes Good With Rice or Bhakri.

 Kulith Pithi che Pthle.. Recipe.. Ingredients... 1. Kulith Pithi .. 3 to 4 tabsps...We can buy this pithi from masala shops . 2. Garlic ... 6to 8 small. 3. Green Mirchi...2to 3 4. Onions..chopped 1 or 2 5. Tomato..1 small chopped. 6. Oil..2to 3 tabsps. 7. Water... As needed ...about more than 4 cups. 8. Salt.. as per taste. 9. Malvani Masala..1/2 to 1 tsp. You can use any home made masala at home. 10. Haldi. 11. Fresh Grated coconut..1tabsp. Method.. Heat one pan or kadhai on flame.. Add oil in it..heat it.. Add crushed Garlic .fry till slight brown. Then add Green chillies in it. Add chopped onions in it.. stir it..then add chopped Tomatoes.. Fry it nicely till Tomato n onions get soft. Then add Malvani masala, Haldi, fry it. Add Kulith Pithi in it.. Fry for 3to 4 minutes. Then add salt in it..Add water.. Add Fresh Grated Coconut in it. Mix till Pithi Getts mixed n no lumps r in it.. Cook it nicely till it gets cooked just like other Besan Pithle. Garnish with Dhania leaves n serve..

Oats , Dry Fruits & Wheat Flour Chikki....Healthy ..Crunchy

Oats , Dry Fruits & Wheat Flour Chikki.. Recipe.. Ingredients..  1. Melted Home Made Ghee..4 to 5 tabsps.for  frying Oats. And 3 to 4 tabsps.for frying Wheat Flour. And 2tabsps.for Jaggery  2. Oats.. 1n 1/4  Full Cup. 3. Wheat Flour..1/2 cup 4. Dry Fruits...3/4 cup..mixed with Badam, Pista  Walnuts, n Cashew ..All crushed together. 5. Gud  or Jaggery.. 1n 3/4 th cup. 6. Elaichi Powder.. 1/2 tsp or as per taste. Method.. 1 . Take 4to 5 tabsp of melted home made ghee  in a pan add 1& 1/4 full cup of oats ..shallow fry  till light brown.,remove n keep aside. 2. Then take 3 to 4 tabsps of melted ghee &  add 1/2 cup of wheat flour .fry till light  brown,..then keep aside. keep ready  3/4 th cup of crushed dry fruits.like  badam..pista.,walnuts n cashew together. then take 2tabsp of ghee in a pan add 1&3/4 cups  of jaggery pieces ..heat it till all jaggery melts  nicely on slow flame. then switch off the gas ..& add oats..wheatflour..crushed dryfruits n some  elaichi powd

Chicken Fried rice with Chicken Manchurian.... Very easy n yummy ..

  Chicken Fried Rice.. Recipe.... 1.  Clean n Wash Boneless small chicken pieces..,add salt n keep it aside. 2. Wash Rice n keep it in strainer for half an hour. 3.Then Take pan n add some oil.add 5-6  black pepper.n add  washed rice.fry for few  minutes.n add hot  water n salt.. n cook rice till 3/4 th done...you can make it in pressure  cooker for only 1 whistle.we have to take 1 n little more water for 1 cup rice. 5. Home Made Fresh Potato Wafers....So Crunchy n Yummy...Just Like Store Bought... Everyone At Home Loved it ..

 Home Made Fresh Potato Wafers... Recipe.. Ingredients.. Potato..2to 4 Salt..as per taste Alum powder..pinch. Oil..to Deep Fry as needed Try with 2 to 4 Potatoes 1st.. peel the Potatoes... then,slice very thin.. then keep it in water added with some Alum  (fitkari or Turti ) powder.. then keep it for 15 to 20 minutes.. then wash it again 3 to 5 times in water.. keep it strainer.. then spread it on a cloth... make it dry completely..  then fry it on low flame..add salt n mix it n serve.

Rava-Kakdi Or Taushe Doddak Or Thalipeeth Or Bhakri... ( Cucumber Doddak ).. I have used our plain regular Green Cucumber

 Rava-Kakdi Or Taushe Doddak Or Thalipeeth Or Bhakri... ( Cucumber Doddak ).. I have used our plain regular Green Cucumber. Ingredients... Grated Cucumber (Kakdi).. 1cup..to 1/2 cup. Rava or Suji... ( Wheat Rava )... 1 cup Grated fresh Coconut...3/4 cup. Green Chilies... 3to 4 as per taste ..chopped finely. Grated Ginger... 1tsp.. or 1  inch Ginger piece. Salt..as per taste.. Sugar ..1 tsp.or Gud... Small piece as per taste. Oil.. to fry Thalipeeth or Doddak. Water..to mix dough. Method... Mix together Rava.. gratedCucumber..  grated fresh Coconut,  Finely Chopped Green  chillies, Grated Ginger, Salt, Sugar or Jaggery (Optional ), n Water as needed.. make a soft dough.. Make hands wet dipping in water  n take a small round ball n spread it on tava as a  thalipeeth or doddaks on heated tava directly. Or you can take round ball of dough n spread round pressing it with fingers on butter  paper 1st .then putting it on heated tava.  Roast it from both sides applying oil around it.. Serve Do

My Thali... Drumsticks , Ashgourd (Kohala or Kuvale ), french Beans,n Onion sambhar...or Kholombo, Mango curry....Gontambyachi Andurli or Ambyacha Kol , Karela Koshimbir , Batata Bhajiya...n......Rice.

  Drumsticks ,Ashgourd (Kohala or Kuvale ), french Beans,n Onion sambhar...or Kholombo..  Recipe.. Cook tur dal in pressure cooker till very soft.  make pieces of,tomato ,& make pieces of Drumsticks, Ash Gourd,n onions , Then boil all the vegetables with some salt . For Sambhar masala...roast 1tabsp of dhania seeds,1/2tsp of jeera, 7-8 methi seeds,6-7  black pepper, 1tabsp.chana dal,1/2tsp of udid dal,5-6 curry patta, pinch haldi, hing, then  add 7-8 bedgi whole red chillies. finally add fesh 2tabsp of grated fresh coconut.roast it  properly in few drops of oil.make fine paste . ( Or you can use Readymade Sambhar  Powder instead of this ground fresh masala..) add some imli juice in it. or grind chinch with this..mix mashed cooked tur dal, this  ground masala or Sambhar Powder. add water, add cooked vegetables. add some salt  ,gud .boil it properly. then add some dhania leaves. make tadka with oil,rai,curry patta,  red chilli, &hing n some Sambhar powder...add in ready kholombo.

Yellow Banana Chips....with very simple ,easy method... So Crispy, Crunchy , n Yummy

  Yellow Banana Chips  recipe,. Ingredients.. Raw Yellow Banana... 6 Big..These r special Kerala Bananas. Salt..tasp. Oil... To deep fry. Method.. These chips r made of special kerala raw bananas..they r very long ,green from  outside.but yellow from inside..we call it Nendrabale bannana or Rajali Keli. peel those bananas properly.it shud be very cleanly peeled. then make thin round pieces of these bananas ,.you can slice it with potato chips grater..   then keep ready salt water ready in a bowl. heat coconut oil or any other oil on medium heat..when it is heated  make thin round  pieces of these bananas ,.you can slice it with potato chips grater..directly in the hot oil. then keep stirring..after 2 minutes add 1tsp to 2 tsps of salt water on frying chips.. Take care while adding water in hot oil..then keep stirring. Flame should be low. when all water dries up n chips become well fried n crisp..remove it n spread it on the  kitchen tissues..fry all the chips in this way..it shud be 

My Thali... Green Methi Leaves Pithle , Akhi Gavar... Gavar Dry Sabji ( Cluster Beans Sabji ) in yummy different way , Garlic Tadka Dal , Capsicum Bhajiya , ...n...Rice.

  Green Methi Leaves Pithle Recipe... wash & chop finely Green Methi leaves in a pan make tadka of oil ,chopped garlic, rai, jeera, green chillies, haldi,hing.. Then add finelly chopped Onion. Fry for some time. finally add add chopped Methi leaves.,fry for few minutes...add salt, then add besan 5 to 6 big tabsps as we need..n fry it for some time... ..keep it on low flame.. stir it till besan gets well fried. Then add enough water .mix it nicely 1st it shud be watery..like thick batter. But as it gets cooking ..it will become thick.. Adjust salt if you need. You can make it semi dry ..or you can keep slight watery..as you like or as you need.. I have made it semi dry. garnish with dhania leaves.. serve with hot rotis. Akhi Gavar... My Thali Today.... Cauliflower Talasani (Dry Sabji ) , Valache Birde ( Sprouted Valachi Usal) , Mangalorian Kuvalya Dhanvi Randay (White Ash Gourd Curry ) ,Tomato Saar with Coconut Milk )..n....Rice.

  Kuvalya Dhanvi Randayi... 1.peel ashgourd..make square cubes. 2.cook it with green chillies,salt,and some water.cook it till ashgourd cooks well. 3.in a tadka wati take 6 to 8 Methi seeds, less than 1/4 tsp.Rai in few drops of oil .fry for few seconds. 4.grind and make fine paste of fresh grated coconut,fried methi n Rai with little water. 5.add this masala in boiled ashgourd,add some curry patta in it. 6.after boiling when masala gets well mixed with ashgourd,add whisked dahi in it.switch off gas..plz do not boil curry after adding dahi. 7.make tadka of oil,mustard seeds,curry patta,small piece of whole red chilli,and add it in curry. 8.ashgourd white curry is ready to serve.
