Idli Rawa, Cabbage n Onion Masala Idli... Its tasty for Breakfast ...these Idlis cherish all my childhood memories ....my mother used to make it regularly..
Idli Rawa, Cabbage n Onion Masala Idlis...
This is my Mother's recipe....
Ingredients.....
Idli Rawa...2 cups.
Fresh Grated Coconut... 3/4 th to 1 cup
Bedgi or Kashmiri Whole Red Chillies..... 4...5...you can add more or less as per your taste..
Hing.... 1/2 tsp.
Imli ... Small ball..as per taste.
Salt as per taste..or 1/2 tsp.
Gud.... 1 to 2 tab sps.. (optional ) but Ilike to add as it enhance the taste.
Cabbage... Grated or chopped finely 1 to 1n1/2 cup.
Onion...1 Medium..Finely Chopped..
Method...
Grind in a mixie Fresh grated Coconut, Imli, n whole Red chillies , n Hing n salt n Gud,. Make slight coarsely.. .
In a big open bowl. Take Idli Rawa , Add Grated Cabbage, n Chopped Onion
Add ground Coconut masala ...Mix well. Add water only till proper idli thick batter
Cover it n Keep it atleast for half an hour.
Then brush some coconut Oil to Idli moulds .. fill it with batter.
Steam it in steamer or Cooker for 12 minutes.
Remove Idlis ..keep it for 5 minutes then serve it with cOconutbOil or Home Made Ghee.
