Sweet Shankarpali

Sweet Shankarpali.. Ingredients.. 1.Maida (Plain Flour)..4 cups 2. Sugar or Sugar powder..1cup 3. Ghee..1/2 cup 4.Water...1/2 Cup 5. Salt...Very little for taste 6.Ghee Or Oil ...To Fry Method.. 1.Mix sugar n water in the vessle..after well mixed keep it on flame.on medium flame .mix only till all sugar is melted in water.remove  it  n keep aside, 2.Then make ghee very hot on gas..n add this oil (mohan) in maida n salt mixture , 3.Mix it with spoon,,then with hands 4.Then mix sugar water mixture in maida..add little little n mix.. 5.Make tight dough..knead it properly 6.Cover it n keep for half an hour..then make big balls of all the dough. .roll them one by one...make  thick chapati. 7.Cut shankarpalis with Shankarpali cutter. 8.Deep fry them on low flame.. 9. Keep it on Kitchen towels.whe it cools down fill them in air tight Bottle.

My Lunch Thali... Egg Palak, kuvalya Dhanvi Randayi,(Ash Gourd White Coconut Curry), Bangda Amshe Tikhshe ( Spicy red Curry ), Phulka, n....Rice.

Here is my palak egg recipe. 1.Boil water in a vessel,add palk leaves,green chillies.keep for 1 minute.and strain it and keep it under tap water for1 minute..then grind it.make fine paste. 2.Boil eggs,shell it  and make 2 pieces. 3.In a pan take oil, add all whole garam masala..i.e.tejpatta,lavang, dalchini,elaichi,black pepper.then Add finely chopped onions.fry for 2 minutes.add grated ginger,grated garlic..saute again till raw smell vanishes.. 4.Add finely chopped tomato.fry till it gets soft. 5.Add dhania powder,jeera powder,haldi,red chilli powder.fry till all masala gets mixed properly. 6.Then add egg pieces.add salt as per taste.saute for 2-3 minutes. 7.Add palak paste.mix it for 2 minutes. 8.Add fresh cream if you like..mix it.in this curry i have added some milk instead of cream. 9.Palak Egg is ready to serve.. Bangda Fish Amshe Tikhshe...Recipe.. 1.Clean 1/2kg Bangda fish & make 2-3 pieces of each.add salt,haldi and keep aside 2.Roast 6to 8 red Bedgi chillies

Rohu Fish Curry in Mustard Paste...Bengali Style..

Recipe... Ingredients. 1.Rohu Fish Cleaned... 7-8 Pieces. 2. Green Chillies.... 6-7 3. Mustard Seeds... 2Tabsps.,. 4. Garlic... 5-6 5. Kalounji (Onion Seeds )...1tsp. 6. Mustard oil 5-6 tabsps 7. Haldi...1/2 tsp. 8. Red Chilli Powder..1/2 tsp,, 9. Salt...As Per Taste, Method.. 1.Apply salt n haldi to fish pieces.. 2.Soak 2 tabsps of mustard seeds in water for 15 to 20 minutes, 4Then grind garic paste,  green chilli n soaked mustard seeds n haldi with some water,..make fine paste. 5.Then slightly shallow fry this fish pieces in mustard oil..remove the pieces 6. in same oil add kalounji seeds,add finely chopped 1 small tomato (optional ).fry till soft. 7. Add ground masala .I added little red chilli powder .. 8.add some salt an then add fish pieces. 9.Make gravy thin or thick as you like, 10.Garnish with dhania leaves n serve with steamed rice.....

My Lunch Thali.... Nogli Or Kane ( Lady Fish ) Curry, Kooka (Chinese Potato) Upkari, kakdi-Tomato-OnionRaita, Tomato Saar, karela Stuffed Pickle, n...Rice.

Nogli or Kane (Lady Fish Curry) Recipe..... 1. Clean n wash Nogli Fish. Apply somme Salt .n Haldi. Keep aside. 2. Grinnd Fresh Coconut ,Haldi, whole red chilli, Dhania Seeds, small piece of Onion.with Water.n make Fine paste, 3. in a pan take this ground masala..add salt, kokum, green chilli long cut, Ginger piece long thin pieces.1/ onion finely  chopped.add water as much as you need..Boil  it properly,,then add Fish in this curry n just give a boil.. 4. Make Tadka with Coconut Oil n 1/2 finely chopped Onion.Add it in Fish Curry.,Garnish with Dhania leaves.n serve . Tomato Saar With Coconut Milk. Recipe 1.Boil 4-5 Tomato making pieces,1tsp Jeera,and 3 Green chillies together with some some water till Tomato gets soft. 2.Grind it .then add some salt,sugar and some Curry patta..add some water as needed. 3.Boil it nicely..then add 1cup or more as per taste of coconut milk in it..I have used instant Maggi milk powder mixed with water. 4.Do not over boil it. Add Dhania leaves.

Dinner with Prawns Fried Rice, Chicken Manchurian n Sweet Corn Chicken Soup..

Prawns Fried Rice... Recipe.... 1.  Clean n Wash Prawns,add salt n keep it aside. 2. Wash Rice n keep it in strainer for half an hour. 3.Then Take pan n add some oil.add 5-6  black pepper.n add  washed rice.fry for few minutes.n add water n salt ..&add hot water inb it n cook rice till 3/4 th done. 5. Then take 1to2 eggs whisk it properly add some salt.n make like scrambled  eggs in some oil. in big kadhai take oil.add garlic chopped., add chopped finely,white  part of spring onion.then stir it.add some gratted ginger garlic paste.,add prawnns in it.fry for few minutes.add chopped finely capsicum..stir it add rice in it..add scrambled eggs, add some soya sauce, 1tsp of Tomato ketchup, n finely chopped greens of spring onion.,,some pepper powder..adjust salt as per taste n mix it nicely,. Prawns Stew made in my simple way.. Recipe.. Ingredients, 1.Prawns.... 2 Cups cleaned n washed. 2. Green Masala Paste ground without water,...with 1Tabsp Grated Garlic ,1Tabsp of Grated   Ginger, 4-5 Green Chillies, n Dhania leaves (Coriander leaves ) . 3. Oil...3..4 tabsps. 4.Green Elaichi(Cardamom)...1 5.Black Pepper...4..5 6.Tej Patta(Bay Leaf). 7. Cloves... 2. 8.Onion .... Finely Chopped 1 Big 9.Tomato ..Finely Chopped..1 10. Dhhania Powder.... 1Tabsp. 11. red Chilli Powder.... 1Tsp. 12. Haldi.. 1/2 Tsp. 13. Curry Patta.. 5..6 14. Thick Coconut Milk,.made with Maggi Coconut Milk Powder...1/2 cup. 15.Salt.. As per taste. Method.. 1. Clean the prawns..Apply some salt n keep aside. 2.Grind green masala with grated Garlic n grated Ginger, Green Chilli,n Dhania leaves (Coriander leaves) without water.. 3. In a pan add some oil. Add 1Green Elaichi( Cardamom).4-5 black pepper , Tej Patta (Bay leaf)., 2 cloves.,fry for some time, 4. Add finely chopped onion,Fry it,

Phodni Mirchi... Green Mirchi Pickle.

             Phodni Mirchi Recipe.. Ingredients 1Green Chillies...200gms...I prefer less spicy. 2.Rai (Mustard ) Powder...2 tabsps. Mustard yellow Dal..3 tabsps. 3.Lemon Juiece...3to4 Lemons. 4.oil...Approx.1/4 cup 5. Methi powder.. 2 Pinch 6.Mustard Seeds..1/4 Tsp. 7. Hing...1 to 2 Tsps ..as per taste. 8. Haldi....1/4 Tsp. 9. Salt..as per taste. Method... 1. Make long pieces of Green Chillies. 2. Make Tadka of Oil,  Rai, Hing, Haldi, n Methi   powder.Make Tadka Cool, 3. Then grind rai Powder with some lemon juice . n little of Oil.  4. Mix Chilli pieces, Salt, Ground Mustard.n ..Rai Dal ,Oil Tadka. Mix it properly...keep it in the bottle.. it can be preserved in the Fridge for some days.

Goan Cafreal Chicken

Goan Chicken Cafreal Ingredients.. 1. Chicken...1kg. 2. Green Paste ..5-6 Tabsps. ( lots of Dhania leaves, 6-7 Green Chillies, n Ginger 1inch Grated , Garlic 8-9 cloves )... 3. Cafreal Masala Powder or any other Garam masalawith little of red chilli powder n Dhania Jeera Powder mix.... 2 Tabsps, 4. Black Pepper Powder..1/4 tsp. 5. Green Elaichi..3 6. Lavang (Cloves )... 2 7.Black Pepper....5-6 8. White Vinegar...3 tabsps. 9. oil .. 3-4 Tabsps. 10. Salt as per Taste. Method.. 1.Wash n clean chicken medium pieces,. 2.Make fine paste of lots of  dhania leaves, more of geen chillies, ginger n more of garlic. 3. Add salt n Cafreal masala powder or any other garam masala.or malvani masala or red chilli powder ,dhania n jeera powder,little of black pepper powder with garam  masala in Chicken Pieces. 4. In a pan take oil n add 2 elaichi, 2 lavang,5-6 black  peppers, fry it.then add chicken pieces in it , 5. Add 2 tsps of white vinegar. 6. Stir fry for few minutes.then keep ii

Prawns Pulao With Coconut Milk

Prawns Pulao With Coconut Milk Ingredients.... 1.Prawns..1Cup 2. Rice..1.1/2Cups 3. Green Masala Paste 2 to 3 Tabsps.Of Dhania leaves, 3 Green Chillies n 7-8 Big Garlic Cloves. 4. Onions..2 to 3 medium 5. Cloves...2-3 6.Elaichi..2 7.Small Piece Of Dalchini. 8.Black Pepper..5-6 9.Tej Patta...2 10.3-4 Chopped Garlic. 11. Finely Chopped Tomato Medium 12.Agri Masala,Or Garam Masala with little of Chilli Powder or Malvani Masala. 13.Coconut Thick Milk..with Instant Coconut Milk Powder. 14. Oil..3-4 Tabsps.n 1Tabsp.of Ghee. 15.Salt..As per taste 16..Hot Water ...3 Cups 17. Dhania Leaves to Garnish. Method 1.Wash n clean the prawns. 2.Add some salt n keep aside., 3.Wash Rice n keep it for half an hour.. 4.Make thin slices of onions.. 5.Make green masala paste of dhania leaves, green mirchi n garlic without water, 6.Then take big kadhai add ghee n oil mixture, 7.Add cloves, black pepper, small piece of dalchini, tej patta.. 8.Add finely chopped  garlic. 9.hen fry it

Today Thali is in the remembrance of all departed family members... Sprouted Moong Ghashi , Moong Green skin Saar , Gavar Bhaji, potato Sukki Bhaji , Khamang Kakdi , Potato, Karela, Tender Bamboo Shoots crispies, Udid Ambode, Shevai Kheer, Poori n... Rice.

Khamang Kakdi recipe .. Peel Cucumbers,chop it in small pieces. Add roasted groundnut powder Add Dhania leaves, salt, pinch sugar If you like add some lemon juice ( optional ) . Then add tadka with ghee, jeera n finely chopped green chilli, currypatta n pinch of hing. Mix it properly, Garnish with Dhania leaves..n serve.

here is my recipe..  Sprouted Val Birde(Usal)...recipe  soak val overnight &give them sprouts..then peel each vaal..remove skin of each vaal.make tadka of oil,add rai,jeera,chopped garlic,green chillies,hing,haldi,red chilli powder,goda masala(or pinch garam masala),add 2kokums.then add sprouted val in it.stir for few minutes..then ...add water &cook it till val get soft..then add salt as per taste,little sugar,or gud..again boil it properly..add fresh grated coconut,& dhania leaves.. val birde or us al is ready to serve

Katache Saar... Recipe.. I always make katachi amti like maharashtrian style,but this time I made simple saar...cook Chaana dal in pressure cooker...then put boiled chaana dal in a strainer..n take  all the water in a vessel,,then add some green chilli, crushed  garlic ,salt , sugar n 2 kokum,.n some dhania leaves.then boil it nicely.n add tadka with ghee, crushed garlic n whole red chilli..Garnish dhania leaves..you can serve it .
