My Thali Today....Kolhapuri Sprouted Green Moong Usal , Bhendi..Onion Bhaji , Mixed Vegetables Sambhar ,Beetroot Raita , Phulka n..... Rice..

Recipe...
Cut 250 gms Bhendi in to round pieces..chop finely 1 big onion.
Make small pieces of green mirchi 2. Chop finely 4 to 5 garlic cloves..
In a pan or kadai take 2 to 3tabsps of oil....add chopped green chillies n chopped garlic.. then add choped onion, fry for few minutes..
Add chopped Bhendi in it.. stir it..
Add some Haldi, pinch of red chilli powder ,or Any malvani or Agri masala ,salt ,stir it for few minutes..cover for 2 to 3 minutes..
then remove the lid n fry it till all stickiness of Bhedi disappears.. n Bhendi is nicely fried with onion n all..
Garnish it with Dhania leaves n serve.
Sprouted Green Moong Usal with Kolhapuri Red Fried Onion ,Garlic n Dry Coconut Masala...
Recipe...
Soak Green Moong for 5 to 6 hours then remove water n keep the Moong for over night to get sprouts.
In Kadhai take 2to 3 tabsps of oil.. add chopped Garlic.. jeera, then add some kolhapuri masala , Haldi..
Then add chopped onions ..fry for some time.. then add chopped tomato in it..Add 1 green chilli in it..saute till all gets well mixed..
Then add some Ground Green masala with dhania leaves ,green mirchi n garlic.. saute it..
Then add sprouted Green Moong in it.. saute for few minutes.. add salt..n add water ..keep the lid n cook till moong gets soft n well cooked..
You can even do all this process in pressure cooker n cook it only for 1 whistle.
Kolhapuri Sprouted Green Moong Usal is ready to serve with Phulka or rice..
Drumsticks - Small Onions-French Beans- Cauliflower Stems sambhar...or Kholombo..
Recipe..
Cook tur dal in pressure cooker till very soft. Cook Cauliflower Stems in the cooker with dal but in separate vessel..
make pieces of,tomato ,& make long pieces of drumsticks. French beans,small onions ,boil all the vegetables with some salt .
For Sambhar masala...roast 1tabsp of dhania seeds,1/2tsp of jeera, 7-8 methi seeds,6-7 black pepper, 1tabsp.chana dal,1/2tsp of udid dal,5-6 curry patta, pinch haldi, hing, then add 7-8 bedgi whole red chillies. finally add fesh 2tabsp of grated fresh coconut.roast it properly in few drops of oil.make fine paste . ( Or you can use Readymade Sambhar Powder instead of this ground fresh masala..)
add some imli juice in it. or grind chinch with this..mix mashed cooked tur dal, this ground masala or Sambhar Powder. add water, add cooked vegetables. add some salt ,gud .boil it properly. then add some dhania leaves. make tadka with oil,rai,curry patta, red chilli, &hing n some Sambhar powder...add in ready kholombo.. serve it with rice.
Beetroot Raita..
Recipe..
Cook Beetroot big pieces with some salt n little
water. in the pressure cooker.then peel it.make
small pieces..then add finely chopped
onions.add curd.add salt if you need.mix it
nicely.then make tadka with ghee adding
mustard seeds, currypatta, red whole chilli
piece, choppped green chilli, n pinch of hing.add
it in the Raita.
