 Rava -Watermelon White Rind (part down the sweet red part ) Doddak or Thalipeeth or Bhakri... Recipe.. Ingredients... 1.. Fine Wheat Rava ( Suji )..1 cup 2..Fresh Grated Coconut...3/4th cup 3.Green Chillies..2 4.Ginger... 1 Inch piece. 5. Gud or Jaggery... 2 tabsps.or more if you want more  sweet  6.Salt... As per taste or less than 1/4 tsp. 7.Buttermilk... 1/2 cup. 8..Water ...as needed. 9..oil as  needed for shallow fry . I have Used our regular fine  Wheat Rava or Suji.. Mix together 1 cup of Rava, 3/4 th cup of fresh grated Coconut,  Add Crushed 2 green finely chopped green chillies n 1/2 tsp.of grated ginger together.,  Add 1 cup of grated  white part of Watermelon, gud more than 2ttabsps.or as you like sweetness.,Salt as per taste or less than 1/4 tsp.,  Add 1/2 cup of Buttermilk n water if you need to make dough.make a soft dough.. then take a small round ball of dough Spread it by pressing it round on greased tava  as a Thalipeeth or Doddak.. n roast it from both sides applyin

  Ambya Sasam... ( Mangalore Traditional Mango Curry ) Recipe.. This is a very traditional amchi dish.Very quick and easy to make.it is sweet,little spicy curry..tastes very  well when served with rice and dalitoy. 1.slice the sweet Alphonso mangoes(or any type of sweet4 mangoes and mix little jaggery in it.(only if mangoes are sour) 2.grind grated coconut 2wati ,mustard seeds1 tsp.,tamarind small piece,little salt,2 3 whole red chillies & jaggery 2 to 3 tabsps. with little water and  make fine paste. 3.mix the sliced mango pieces well in the ground masala. 4.ambya sasam is ready to serve. Dalithoy... (Mangalore Traditional Dal ) Recipe.. Cook 1 cup Toor dal with water in pressure cooker till it cooks very well. Then whisk the dal properly. My Thali Today.... Pomfret Fish Curry , Mooli Leaves Bhaji (Radish Leaves Sabji ) , Ambe Haldi , Fresh haldi, Kairi , Green Mirchi Fresh Pickle ,Pomfret n Saundale Fish Fry ...n... Rice..

Pomfret Fish Curry Recipe..... 1. Clean n wash Pomfret Fish.  Make Pieces..Apply some Salt .n Haldi. Keep aside. 2. Grind Fresh Coconut ,Haldi, whole red chilli, Dhania Seeds, small piece of Onion.with Water.n make Fine paste, 3. in a pan take this ground masala..add salt, kokum, green chilli long cut, Ginger piece long thin pieces.1/ onion finely  chopped.add water as much as you need.. Boil  it properly,,then add Fish in this curry n just give a boil.. 4. Make Tadka with Coconut Oil n 1/2 finely chopped Onion.Add it in Fish Curry.,Garnish with Dhania leaves.n serve . Pomfret n Saundale  Fish Fry... Apply Salt ,Haldi, Red Chilli powder to washed Pomfret n Saundale Pieces.. Then add green paste of Dhania Leaves , Green Chillies n Lots of Garlic.. Mix nicely  Add Lemon juice..keep for some time .. then  roll the pieces in the Mixture of  rice powder n Fine Rava..  Tarle Fishache Amshe Tikhshe... here is Recipe.. clean 10 to 12 tarle fish & make ...add salt,haldi and keep aside  roast10-12 red Bedgi chillies in few drops of oil for 1 minute. grind 2tabsp grated coconut,red chillies,1.4tsp haldi,2-3 garlic cloves,small ball of tamarind.make fine,smooth paste with water. grind 5-6 tirfal with little water and strain it  Boil ground masala,tirfal water, by adding some more water. add fish in it.. and boil it  for 3 to 5 minutes... sprinkle coconut oil on it.. n cover it.curry is ready to serve.. sprinkle 1tabsp.coconut oil on the curry,cover with lid.curry is ready..serve with Rice.   Dal Dhokli is a Gujrati delicacy ..In Maharashtra same dish is called Varanphal ..This dish is a one dish full meal.. you dont need anything with it..  Dal Dhokli recipe., Ingredients.. Toor Dal... 1 cup. Wheat Floor.. 2 to 3 cups. Tomato.. 1 choppef finely. Goda Masala ..2tsp.or Garam Masala powder1/4 tsp...   Dhania jeera powder ..... 2tsp. Ghee or Oil.. 2tabsps. Currypatta.. 5..6 leaves. Rai.. 1/4tsp.  Jeera.. 1/4 tsp.Methi Seeds.. 5..6 Hing.. 1/4 tsp. Haldi.. 1/2 tsp. Green Chillies.. 2 to 3 Grated garlic .. 1tsp. ( Optional ) Chillipowder... Less than 1/4 tsp. Or as per taste Imli Juice.. 1tabsp Gud.. as per taste. Dhania leaves.. as needed. Salt.. as per taste. Water as needed.
