My Thali Today....Kulith Usal ( Horse Gram Usal) , Kulith Saar , Bhendi Masala , Stir Fried Broccoli..... n.... Rice


 
Kulith Saar recipe...

This Saar is made with water of cooked kulith.I soaked kulith for 4 hours then  kept for 

sprouts for overnight.. .. (but we can cook it without soaking as well. ).

Cook Sprouted Kulith with salt n water in the pressure cooker  for 3 whistles.. 

Take out all the water from  cooked  kulith..this water is used for saar.

grind 1tabsp.fresh grated coconut,1 whole red chilli, 3 tabsp.cooked kulith 1/2tsp.dhania 

seeds,2-3 chopped garlic,small piece of imli(chinch) with water.make fine paste.. 

add this in boiled kulith water..add salt,little gud,1-3 green chillies.2crushed garlics.then 

boil it nicely for 5 minutes.make tadka of 1tabsp.ghee,5-6 crushed garlics,1whole red 

chilli..add it in saar..garnish with dhania leaves..saar is ready to serve




Kulith Usal 

recipe..

Cook Kulith in pressure cooker..

make tadka with oil add rai, chopped garlic, hing,  haldi, little goda masala, then add 

finely chopped onion , green chilli chopped.fry till onions  get soft n pinkish colour..then 

add small chopped tomato,fry add chiil powder .

then add cooked kulith.,grated coconut , add gud , salt.n mix it well,again cook it till it gets

 well mixed.then garnish with dhania leaves.serve it,



Stir Fried Broccoli...


Steam Broccoli in a steamer ..

 then in a pan take some butter... Add steamed Broccoli . Add some salt, n pepper 

powder .. Stir fry till it gets slight brown ...Stir fried Broccoli is ready to serve..




Bhendi Masala...

Recipe...

Cut 250 gms Bhendi in to round pieces..chop finely 1 big onion.

Make small pieces of green mirchi 2. Chop finely 4 to 5 garlic  cloves..

In a pan or kadai take 2 to 3tabsps of oil....add chopped green chillies n chopped garlic.. then add choped onion, fry for few minutes..

Add chopped Bhendi in it.. stir it..

 Add some Haldi, pinch of red chilli powder , dhania powder, jeera powder ,salt ,stir it for 

few minutes..cover for 2 to 3 minutes..then remove the lid n fry it till all stickiness of 

Bhedi disappears.. n Bhendi is nicely fried with onion n all..

Garnish it with Dhania leaves n serve.

Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole With coconut Garlic Chutney For Breakfast..

 Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole.. Here is recipe. Ingredients... Rice...1 cup Fresh Grated Coconut.. 1/2 cup. Sugar.. 1 tsp.(optional ) Salt.. as per taste. Water...as needed. Oil..For Frying Dosa Method... 1-soak rice for 3-4 hours in water. 2-grind rice,grated coconut,salt and sugar(optional )with water in a fine paste. 3-add some water and make that paste thin to spread dosas. 4-take non stick tawa and spread thin dosas on it 5-apply some oil on tawa to take out dosas easily. Coconut Garlic chutney.. Grind fresh 1 cup fresh grated Coconut ,  4 to 5 Garlic cloves, small piece of chinch (Imli) 2 or 3 Whole Red Chillies n salt with some  water. Chutney is ready to serve.

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney)

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney). Recipe.... Ingredients.. Rice Idli Rawa...2 cup Fresh Grated Coconut... 1/2 cup.. (4to 5 tabsps) Water...4 cups. For Tadka.. Oil.. 2 tabsps. Rai..1/2 tsp. Curry patta.. 8 to 10 Whole red chilli..2 or 3 Hing..1/4 tsp. Salt...as psr taste or minimum 1tsp. Sugar..1tsp.  Method.. Wash 1 wati idli rice rawa & keep. make tadka of oil,rai,red chillies,curry  patta,& hing. then add water .. while boiling add rawa,2 to 3 tabsp.grated  coconut..salt, sugar. mix it.& make it dry  like upma.. then make round undies with hand..make a  small whole in the middle.. steam it like idlis..undies r ready to serve... Serve it with Lasun Gojju. Lasun (Garlic ) Gojju ( Chutney) Recipe... Grind Grated fresh coconut 1cup with garlic 3..chinch small 2 pieces ,  3whole red  chillies & salt as per taste with little  water. sprinkle some coconut oil on it. (This is optional)
