My Lunch Thali Today.... Crushed Tendli Talasani , Cauliflower -Dal Ambat (Dal with ground coconut masala), Potato Soang, Fresh just made Kairi Pickle with roasted masala powder, Sun drird n fried Green Chilli...n..Rice.

CauliFlower Ambat Recipe.... Boil big10 to 15 pieces of cauliflower pieces with some salt and water. Cook1cup Toor Dal in pressure cooker till very soft. then mash it.add cauliflower pieces in it.fry 10-12 methi seeds in few drops of oil add 3-4 whole red bedgi chillies in it.grind together fresh 1 cup grated coconut,small piece of chich, 1/4 tsp haldi,and fried methi & red chillies in to a fine paste. add this ground masala in dal and cauliflower pieces mixture.add salt as per taste. , pinch sugar(optional).boil it.then make tadka of oil and add 1finely chopped onion.fry till brown and add in curry.Ambat is ready to serve.

Home Made Rice Papads ( Papdi ).

                                        Home Made Rice Papads ( Papdi ). Recipe 1. Rice..1 small wati  or any small cup 2. Jeera or Cuminseeds.. 1 tsp. 3. Salt...As per taste. 4.Water.. As needed. 5. Oil... Just to grease small papad plates. Preparation... 1. Wash rice properly n soak it in water at night ...... 2. Grind it in very fine paste with some water... 3. Add some water to make it thin batter..Mix it.. 4. It shud be just like dosa batter.you can see that thin layer of batter sticks on the back of spoon.. 5. Add Salt as per taste ,n jeera.mix it. 6. Take kadai add water keep net or strainer on it.  .. 7. You can keep net which is used to cover it on milk vessel...apply oil drop in small plates.(you have to do it only ones in starting ... no need of applying oil again while making 2 nd batch.) 8. Spread very little of rice paste on it. .Turn the plate round to spread it evenly on the plate... 9. When water is hot keep n starts boiling..keep plates on it...N steam for

Chicken Momos with Tomato Chutney or Dip

Recipe... Momo Masala... 1tabsp Dhania, 1/4 tsp,methi seeds, 1/2 tabsp.Jeera, 1/4 tabs,black pepper, 1tsp,mutard seeds, 4Green Elaichi,5/6 whole red chillies, 5cloves,small piece of dalchini, 1/4tsp ginger powder,haldi. 2 Tbsps sesame seeds  til Roast til till slight brown separately.. roast all other whole masala ingredients for just 1minute,.n then add haldi n ginger powder in it.. make masala powder. you can preserve these  masala in a bottle. For Momos... knead dough with 2cups of Maida (Plain Flour ) with salt,2tbsps.of  oil,n water. keep it covered with wet cloth..  for filling.. Take chicken kheema in a bowl..add finely chopped 2 onions, 2 tabsps.ginger garlic paste , momo masala powdr as per taste, salt, black pepper powder.. Add some green leaves of spring onion,little of soya sauce...then take small  round ball of dough ..n roll it like poori.,n fill above kheema mixture in it,,n shape them as momos. Aarrange these momos in greased steamer plate,.n Keep it

My Simple Our Mangalore Type Lunch Thali.... Suran (Yam) Koot, Dal Thoy, Crushed Tondli Talasani ,Mirchi kharda or Thecha, Rice Vadi Fry, n..Rice.

SURAN KOOT...Recipe... finely chop suran. add some salt.shallow fry it in some oil in non stick pan..so more oil is not required..make it crisp..fry 1/2 tsp rai, 4-5 methi seeds, 1/2 tsp dhania seeds, ,red chillies 3-4, 1tabsp fresh coconut &some haldi & hing in 1/4sp of oil..grind this with some imli & water.. & add fried suan in it.. mix properly..no need of heating ..suran koot is ready to serve..
