Vangi (Brinjal) Soang....
Recipe..
Chop Vaangi inmedium pieces..
Chop 2 onions finely .
Take 3 to 4 tabsps of coconut oil or any other oil in a pan. add chopped onions.fry till light brown .
Add 1/2tsp.of haldi, 2 tabsps.of kashmiri red chilli powder,.add1 tabsp.of tamarind (imli)
juice.
Add salt,as per taste...
Saute for 2 minutes..
Add vangi pieces..mix it..add little water ..boil it till Vangi pieces gets mixed with masala.
Vangi Soang is ready to serve.

1. peel outer skin of 5 to 6Mangoes. We use Ghontambo means small juicy Mangoes.. but if it is not available we can use any small mangoes.. here I have used Alphonso Mangoes...
add little water in all mango peeled skin.and take out all juice from it.
2. take big vessel &put all mangoes and above juice in it. add enough water .
3. add 1/2 tsp.black pepper powder,1 or 2 green chillies(optional), 1 wati jaggery(gud),salt

4. add 1tabsp.rice powder in some water ..add this paste in it and let it cook for 5 minutes.
5. make tadka.2tsp. heat ghee add 1/2tsp.rai,2 whole red chillies ,1/4 tsp.hing,and add in above curry and keep lid.
6. serve with rice.

PATRANI MACHI......APPLIED GREEN MASALA TO POMFRET PIECES , THEN WRAPPED IN
A BANANA LEAF & THEN FRIED..

10.Banana Leaf-2-3
11.Salt.

13.Roasted Jeera Powder-1/2 tsp.

Preparation..
1.Clean and wash Pomfret Pieces.
2.Apply salt and haldi to it.
3.Grind Chutney with dhania leaves, pudina leaves, green chillies chopped, fresh grated coconut, grated ginger and garlic, and jeera..
4.add salt as per taste.add lemon juice to the ground chutney.I haved added roasted jeera powder in it.(optional).
5.Apply the Fish pieces with this Green masala.
6.Make 2-3 pieces of banana leaves. heat it slightly from both sides..so that it will be easier to wrap.
7.Spread some green masala on the leaves.keep fish pieces on it.and wrap it properly with toothpicks and thread.
8.In a pan take some oil..keep these properly wrapped pomfret packets n shallow fry till banana leaf becomes nice brown n crisp..

9. Open the packets n remove serve the fried fish n serve it..
Patrani Machi is ready to serve.
You can steam this wrapped fish in a steamer instead of frying with same recipe..

Grind together fresh grated coconut, 2 kasmiri chillies or bedgi chllies,small piece of
tamarind,.. Add some Dahi n grind finely.
After making fine paste add chopped finely onion,small piece of ginger..again grind for
just 1 -2 rounds..
mix it with salt and add water as u need..no need of
heating..you can serve it on hot rice ..
