My Thali.... Potato Red Spicy Sabji (Batata Saung ) , White Butter Beans ( Tingalora Beans Saar Upakari ) , Neer Phanas n Tigalora Sukke , Phulka , ....n.... Rice
Batata Saung..
Recipe..
Boil the 4 potatoes in the cooker ..
Remove skin.make pieces.
Chop 2 onions finely .
Take 3 to 4 tabsps of coconut oil or any other oil in a pan. add chopped onions.fry till light brown .
Add 1/2tsp.of haldi, 2 tabsps.of kashmiri red chilli powder,.add1 tabsp.of tamarind (imli)
juice.
Add salt,as per taste...add pinch sugar if you like (this is optional)..fry for 2 minutes..
Add potato pieces..mix it..add little water ..boil
it till potatogets mixed with masala.
Potato Saung is ready to serve.
White Tingalora or Butter Beans Saar Upakari
Recipe..
Soak White Tingalora Beans over night.
Cook Soaked Tingalora n some salt with water in pressure cooker till soft..
Then add 1 long choppped green chilli in it.. its optional. I have not added green chilli.
Boil it nicely ..keep the consistency as you like.. it shud be not dry or very watery.
Adjust salt as per taste.
Make Tadka with coconut oil or any oil add lots of crushed garlic n whole red chillies..
add it in the curry.. its ready to serve..
This curry is non spicy n without any masala so kids just love it.
Neer Phanas or Divkadgi (Bread Fruit) With White Tingalora Beans Sukke..
Recipe..
Soak some White Butter Beans or Tingalora for over night.
Cook it with some water in pressure cooker.
Remove skin of 1 medium sized Neer Phanas...
Remove skin of 1 medium sized Neer Phanas...
make medium pieces of it.add some salt and boil it with some water..
you can cook for 1whistle in pressure cooker.
Mix These cooked Neer Phanas n Cooked Butter Beans together.
in a tadka pan take 1/tsp of oil.add 2tsp of dhania seeds,1tsp of udid dal,7-8 methi
seeds..fry for 1-2minutes till it gets fried slightly.add 3-4 red whole chillies..
Grind this fry masala with fresh grated coconut,small piece of imli(chinch),1/4tsp of
haldi,and some water..
add this ground paste in cooked Neer Phanas mixture.
,add some gud and salt as per taste..boil it nicely..
Make it dry or keep some gravy in it.
then make tadka with oil rai,curry patta,hing..add in it..
Sukke is ready to serve..
