My Fish Thali.... Mangalorian Tulu Styled Fish Curry , Tarle (Saradines ) Fish Tikhle or Amshe Tikhshe , Natholi (Anchovies ) and Prawns Fry....n.... Rice


 Mangalorian Tulu Styled Fish Curry..

Recipe..

Clean n wash Saradines or any other fish like Bangda, Pomfret, Prawns ,King fish or Black

 Pomfret...I have used Saradines in this curry.

Apply some salt n keep it aside.

In a pan dry roast 1 to 1n1/2 tabsp.of Dhania seeds., 8 t o 10 methi seeds,pinch Rai, 5to 6 

black pepper..after roasting few minutes add 1/4 tsp Jeera, n 1/4 sp.Ajwain..,add red 

whole chillies 4 or as per taste..dont roast too much..just till nice aroma.

Then Grind fresh grated Coconut with above roasted masala, haldi, n imli (tamarind), 1/4 

onion , 5to 6 garlic..

Make very fine paste. Keep it for boiling with adding more water..add remaining long cut 

onion , some ginger long pieces.,and 2 chopped green chillies add salt.. 

Boil curry mixture for 10 minutes till all gets well mixed n onions and other things get 

well cooked. This curry tastes more aromatic when you boil it for more time..keep the 

curry medium thick..not too thick.

Then add fish pieces in curry n boil for 5 to 8 minutes till it gets cooked..

I added 1tasp.of coconut oil while boiling..but you can skip it.

Fish curry is ready to serve with rice.




 Tarle Fish Tikhle or Amshe Tikhshe...


Recipe..


clean 10 to 12 tarle fish  ...add salt and keep aside 

roast10-12 red Bedgi chillies in few drops of oil for 1 minute.

grind 2tabsp grated coconut,red chillies,1.4tsp haldi,2-3 garlic cloves,small ball of 

tamarind.make fine,smooth paste with water.

grind 5-6 tirfal with little water and strain it 

Boil ground masala,tirfal water, by adding some more water.

add fish in it.. and boil it  for 3 to 5 minutes... sprinkle coconut oil on it.. n cover it.curry is ready to serve..

sprinkle 1tabsp.coconut oil on the curry,cover with lid.curry is ready..serve with Rice.




Natholi (Anchovies ) and Prawns Fry..

Recipe..

Clean n wash Natholi ..I made it Boneless giving a big slit in side n removed bones.and made  it flat.

Wash n clean Prawns.remove Black thread from it.

Apply Lots of Garlic paste, salt, Haldi, Malvani masala or any other home made masala 

you have..or you can apply only red chilli powder. Add some lemon juice..n mix it 

proper!y..keep for some time..

Then in a plate take more of rice powder n little of rawa .add some salt, Malvani masala, 

mix it..

Roll each fish in it.. n shallow fry in some oil till crispy..

 Maharashtrian Goda Masala...    Its a Home made Fresh Maharashtrian  Brahmani Goda Masala powder..I use this this  Masala in my regular  dishes like Amti, Bharali  Vangi, or any vegetables , Many Vegetable   Sabjis,  Dal Rice Khichdi, or Masale Bhaat , we  can even spread this Masala with some oil on  rotis n make rolls n eat. We can make Masala  Chapati. It us used in making Cutlets.. we can  add it in aby non veg dishes with eggs, fish or  meat..  Ingredients..   Use same Big Wati or Cup for measurement . 1...Dhane ( Dry Coriander Seeds )... 4 Big Wati. 2...Regular Jeera (Cummin Seeds.)... 1/2 Wati 3....Shaha Jeera.. 6 tsps. 4...Lavang (Cloves ).... 4 tsps. 5...Dalchini (Cinnamon)... 8 to 10 pieces about 2  inch each. 6.... Methi (Fenugreek Seeds)....1 tsp. 7....Rai (Mustard Seeds)...1tsp. 8....Hing Khada..2 pieces or 3 tsps Hing powder 9...Whole Lal Mirchi... Dry Whole Red Chillies..8  to 10. 10... Bread Thalipeeth... Very Good Of Use Of Left Over Bread...

Bread Thalipeeth  Recipe... Ingredients.. Brread Slices...5 to 7 big Fine Rawa (Suji ) Green Mirchi (Chillies)..3..4 Garlic ..2 big Dhania leaves.. as needed Onion.. 1 big chopped finely Sugar... 1sp or as per taste Salt..as per taste Water.. as needed Oil.. for frying Method.. Put 5 to 6 bread slices in water..immediately press it n remove water n take it in a bowl, Then add 1cup fine rawa..add salt .little of sugar,  Add chopped finely green mirchi, dhania leaves.n little of garlic grated. ( this time I added 2tsps of green masala.i.I green chillies.,grated garlic n dhania leaves chutnney)   . Add chopped finely onion..n mix it nicely n make dough for thalipeeth.if you need some water u can sprinkle some on the dough n,make ot soft.. Take parching paper or butter paper then apply some oil n keep 1 ball of dough n press it  make round thin like  puri or chapati   Shallow fry it on a pan with applying oil from both sides,make churchuri ( crispy ) n serve it..
