Pan Fried Stuffed Pooris With Tomato Ketchup....
Recipe..
Outer Covering..
Ingredients..
Wheat Flour..2to 3 cups.
Green chillies.. 3 to 5 Garlic clove
Ghee.. 1tabsp.
Salt..as per Taste
Water...as needed
Ingredients for Stuffing..
Oil..1 tabsp.for tadka.
Jeera.. less than 1/4 tsp.
Green chillies.. 2 finely chopped.
Onion...1 finely chopped.
Green Peas..1/4 cup.
Grated Cabbage..1 Cup
French Beans... 1/4 cup Finely chopped
Red Chilli powder..1/4 tsp or less as per taste.
Roasted Dhae Jeera powder ..1/4 tsp.
Haldi.. 1/4 tsp.
Garam Masala powder.. pinch
Green spring leaves.. 1 hand full finely chopped.
Salt..as per taste.
Boiled potatoes.. 2 slightly mashed
Dhania leaves.. 2tabsps finely chopped.
Oil..for shallow fry as needed.
Method..
Make dough with wheat flour, Green chillies n
Garlic paste , 1 tabsp.of ghee..n salt..knead it
with warm water.. keep dough for 15 minutes..
till then make stuffing.. make tadka with jeera,
add green chillies chopped finely, add finely
chopped onion, fry it for few minutes..then add
boiled green peas, grated cabbage, n finely
chopped French beans, then add red chilli
powder, roasted dhane jeera powder, garam
masala powder (optional..I didnt add ).
Then add salt, haldi, green spring onion leaves,
mix it.. add boiled n mashed potato..mix it.. then
add dhania leaves.. you can add or skip any
veggies or masalas as per taste..
then roll small pooris of dough..
stuff this stuffing.. then close it properly..n on
hand again presss it in to pooris. Steam it in
steamer.
Then shallow fry it with oil needed on a pan..
pooris r ready to serve with tomato ketchup
