My Thali Today.... Palak Raita, Drumsticks- small Onions- French Beans- Cauliflower stems Sambhar , French Beans Talasani ( Dry Sabji with Garlic n Red Chilli Tadka ) , Green Peas Shells Bhajiya or Crispies.....n....Rice.
Palak Raita Recipe....
1.wash & finely chop 1bunch of palak leaves.
2.Boil palak,chopped 2 to 3 green chillies,grated 1 inch ginger,salt as per taste ,pinch of sugar,and very little water for 5 minutes till palak is cooked.
3.switch off gas & add whisked 1 cup dahi in it.
4.make tadka of 1tabsp.ghee,1/2 tsp.rai, 1/2 tsp.jeera,1whole red chilly and ;pinch of hing and add in palak raita.
5.palak raita is ready to serve.
Green Peas Shells Bhajiya or Crispies.. Recipe...
These Green Peas Shell Bhajiyas is a very yummy dish with great taste from waste .
My grandmother used to make this.. In my childood whenever she used to make this we all kids used to wait to remove inner thin skin rom vatana sali..
I am sure you all will love these crispy bhajiya..
Recipe...
Remove inner thin skin of green peas shell to make bhajiyas..otherwise u wont be able to eat it....here is the way ...after removing peas from the shell..separate the 2 parts of shells ..then from upper end jst press it inside and take out (pull)thin skin out of it.that thin skin is a waste... only remaining outer part u can use it..
Apply salt,haldi,hing,chilli powder ,..sprinkle some water to get wet..then add rice powder ,some Rava , little of Besan (optional)....mix properly..and deep fry it..
Drumsticks - Small Onions-French Beans- Cauliflower Stems sabhar...or Kholombo.. Recipe..
Cook tur dal in pressure cooker till very soft. Cook Cauliflower Stems in the cooker with dal but in separate vessel..
make pieces of,tomato ,& make long pieces of drumsticks. French beans,small onions ,boil all the vegetables with some salt .
For Sambhar masala...roast 1tabsp of dhania seeds,1/2tsp of jeera, 7-8 methi seeds,6-7 black pepper, 1tabsp.chana dal,1/2tsp of udid dal,5-6 curry patta, pinch haldi, hing, then add 7-8 bedgi whole red chillies. finally add fesh 2tabsp of grated fresh coconut.roast it properly in few drops of oil.make fine paste . ( Or you can use Readymade Sambhar Powder instead of this ground fresh masala..)
add some imli juice in it. or grind chinch with this..mix mashed cooked tur dal, this ground masala or Sambhar Powder. add water, add cooked vegetables. add some salt ,gud .boil it properly. then add some dhania leaves. make tadka with oil,rai,curry patta, red chilli, &hing n some Sambhar powder...add in ready kholombo.. serve it with rice.
French Beans Talasani ..Parasbi Talasani ( French Beans Sabji )...
Make 1 inch French beans pieces..
Make Tadka with Oil , add lots of Crushed Garlic, whole red cilli, fry it till brown
Add French beans pieces..add haldi, red chilli powder, salt ,little of gud or sugar to taste (optional)..mix it nicely...add some water .keep the lid.. cook it till it becomes soft .or french beans cook nicely.
Keep it till alll water gets dry.. when it becomes completely dry.. Talasani is ready to serve. .
