My Sunday Thali ....Corn Cob (Maka Kanis ) Masala , Vangi Talasani.. (Brinjal Dry Sabji ) , Tomato Rasam , Amla( Full Amla n Green Chillies Preserved in salt water) Chutney or Gojju , Bombil Fish Fry ... n...Rice


 


Corn Cob (Maka Kanis ) Masala...

Recipe....

Make pieces of  Corn Cobs...Steam these pieces with some salt in cooker or steamer.


take 1sp.oil in a pan roast all whole garam masala like dhania seeds, lavang, dalchini, 

black pepper, for 1 minute

take 1tab sp.oil in a pan roast long cut onions,garlic cloves,ginger piece,fry untill light 

brown add grated dry coconut and roast it till coconut gets little brown.

grind above roasted garam masala,roasted onion coconut,red chillies,little dhania leaves 

together with water and make fine paste.

take 3tabsp oil,add tomatoes fry for few minutes, add corn cobs pieces,add ground above 

masala,salt as per taste,add water and cook it .keep gravy as you require.

garnish with dhania leavesa..Corn Cob masala is ready to serve.






Vangi Talasani.. (Brinjal Dry Sabji )...

Recipe..


Make long n medium thin pieces of any  Size of Vaangi  .. 250gms.

In a pan make Tadka with oil 2 tabsps.. add crushed Garlic cloves..7to 8 , Add whole red 

chilli pieces..1 or 2..

Then add Vaangi pieces in it.. add 1/4tsp.of Haldi , n 1/4 tsp of red chilli powder.. mix 

it..then add salt n pinch of sugar or small piece of gud ( you can skip this..this is optional ) 

Then cover it with lid.. cook just fir 2 to 3 minutes.. then remove lid.. n stir fry it till 

slightly crisp.. 

Vangi Talasani is ready to serve.



Tomato Rasam

Recipe...


Chop 2-3 tomatoes. grind it in mixie without water...

In a vessel take 3-4 glass water,add  Ground tomatoes.

add green chillies,crushed garlic,rasam powder.(or little sambhar powder or crushed 

dhania jeera n black pepper powder ) ,

Add currypatta,dhania leaves,little hing,salt,sugar(optional),imli juice,&boil for 10 

minutes on low flame.if needed add more water..boil till nicce Rasam aroma 

comes..switch off gas.. 

Add tadka of ghee,rai,whole red chilli,hing,curry patta...i add pinch of rasam powder in 

tadka..Tomato Rasam will be ready.



 Amla( Full Amla n Green Chillies Preserved in salt water) Chutney  or Gojju...


Recipe..

Grind together fresh grated coconut, Amla pieces ,Green chillies n salt n lots of 

garlic with little of water.. chutney is ready to serve.

Maharashtrian Goda Masala...Home Made Brahmani Goda or Kala Masala Powder..

 Maharashtrian Goda Masala...    Its a Home made Fresh Maharashtrian  Brahmani Goda Masala powder..I use this this  Masala in my regular  dishes like Amti, Bharali  Vangi, or any vegetables , Many Vegetable   Sabjis,  Dal Rice Khichdi, or Masale Bhaat , we  can even spread this Masala with some oil on  rotis n make rolls n eat. We can make Masala  Chapati. It us used in making Cutlets.. we can  add it in aby non veg dishes with eggs, fish or  meat..  Ingredients..   Use same Big Wati or Cup for measurement . 1...Dhane ( Dry Coriander Seeds )... 4 Big Wati. 2...Regular Jeera (Cummin Seeds.)... 1/2 Wati 3....Shaha Jeera.. 6 tsps. 4...Lavang (Cloves ).... 4 tsps. 5...Dalchini (Cinnamon)... 8 to 10 pieces about 2  inch each. 6.... Methi (Fenugreek Seeds)....1 tsp. 7....Rai (Mustard Seeds)...1tsp. 8....Hing Khada..2 pieces or 3 tsps Hing powder 9...Whole Lal Mirchi... Dry Whole Red Chillies..8  to 10. 10... Bread Thalipeeth... Very Good Of Use Of Left Over Bread...

Bread Thalipeeth  Recipe... Ingredients.. Brread Slices...5 to 7 big Fine Rawa (Suji ) Green Mirchi (Chillies)..3..4 Garlic ..2 big Dhania leaves.. as needed Onion.. 1 big chopped finely Sugar... 1sp or as per taste Salt..as per taste Water.. as needed Oil.. for frying Method.. Put 5 to 6 bread slices in water..immediately press it n remove water n take it in a bowl, Then add 1cup fine rawa..add salt .little of sugar,  Add chopped finely green mirchi, dhania leaves.n little of garlic grated. ( this time I added 2tsps of green masala.i.I green chillies.,grated garlic n dhania leaves chutnney)   . Add chopped finely onion..n mix it nicely n make dough for thalipeeth.if you need some water u can sprinkle some on the dough n,make ot soft.. Take parching paper or butter paper then apply some oil n keep 1 ball of dough n press it  make round thin like  puri or chapati   Shallow fry it on a pan with applying oil from both sides,make churchuri ( crispy ) n serve it..
