PRAWNS PULAO......

RECIPE....


CLEAN & WASH PRAWNS..APPLY SOME SALT, PINCH HALDI, 

WASH RICE & KEEP FOR 15-20 MINUTES, 

IN PRESSURE COOKER TAKE SOME OIL,ADD TEJ PATTA, 2LAVANG, 2 ELAICHI, SHAHI JEERA, 

ADD LONG CUT OINIONS,FRY TILL LIGHT BROWN.

THEN ADD WASHED RICE..FRY FOR 2 MINUTES.

ADD GREEN PASTE Of DHANIA LEAVES , GREEN CHILLIES n GARLIC N GINGER 1TAB SP 

OF FINELY CHOPPED ONION,1 TSP.OF DHANIA SEEDS....SAUTE FOR SOME TIME...

 ADD  PRAWNS..THIS TIME I HAVE ADDED SOME FRESH GREEN PEAS 

STIR....ADD..GARAM MASALA...ADD SALT..& ADD HOT WATER..COOK FOR 1 OR 2 

WHISTLE..GARNISH WITH DHANIA LEAVES..& 

PRAWNS PULAO IS READY TO SERVE.

RECIPE.


1. CLEAN  PRAWNS .REMOVE BLACK THREAD FROM IT..& APPLY SALT  N HALDI. KEEP 

ASIDE.

IN A PAN TAKE 3TO 4 TABSPS OF COCONUT OIL.FRY FINELY CHOPPED ONION TILL IT 

TURNS SOFT ..

THEN ADD RED CHILLI POWDER, HALDI, N PHANNA UPAKARI HOME MADE MASALA 

POWDER.. ( I PRESERVE THIS MASALA IN THE BOTTLE... IN FEW DROPS OF OIL ROAST 

RED CHILLIES , DHANIA SEEDS N SOME METHI SEEDS.. THEN POWDER IT IN A 

GRINDER N KEEP IT IN THE BOTTLE.).

ADD IMLI WATER..SALT.. FRY FOR FEW MINUTES.. ADD PRAWNS IN IT.. MIX IT NICELY..

ADD SOME WATER IF YOU NEED GRAVY.. OR YOU CAN MAKE DRY ..

COOK FOR 3TO 4 MINUTES TILL PRAWNS GET COOKED.

PRAWNS UPAKARI IS READY TO SERVE..





BOONDI RAITA..

RECIPE..

WHISK DAHI NICELY..ADD SALT, SUGAR, ROASTED JEERA POWDER, BLACK PEPPER 

POWDER, LITTLE OF RED CHILLI POWDER.. SOME DHANIA LEAVES.. MIX IT NICELY.

ADD SOME FRIED BOONDI IN IT..MIX IT..

SERVE IT GARNISHING WITH SOME BOONDI ON TOP , SPRINKLE SOME RED 

CHILLI POWDER, BLACK PEPPER POWDER N ROASTED JEERA POWDER..N DHANIA 

LEAVES..

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney). Recipe.... Ingredients.. Rice Idli Rawa...2 cup Fresh Grated Coconut... 1/2 cup.. (4to 5 tabsps) Water...4 cups. For Tadka.. Oil.. 2 tabsps. Rai..1/2 tsp. Curry patta.. 8 to 10 Whole red chilli..2 or 3 Hing..1/4 tsp. Salt...as psr taste or minimum 1tsp. Sugar..1tsp.  Method.. Wash 1 wati idli rice rawa & keep. make tadka of oil,rai,red chillies,curry  patta,& hing. then add water .. while boiling add rawa,2 to 3 tabsp.grated  coconut..salt, sugar. mix it.& make it dry  like upma.. then make round undies with hand..make a  small whole in the middle.. steam it like idlis..undies r ready to serve... Serve it with Lasun Gojju. Lasun (Garlic ) Gojju ( Chutney) Recipe... Grind Grated fresh coconut 1cup with garlic 3..chinch small 2 pieces ,  3whole red  chillies & salt as per taste with little  water. sprinkle some coconut oil on it. (This is optional)

My Thali...Grated Suran Andhra Bhaji.. Yam Sabji , French Beans Kismur , Vilayati Dal , (Simple Dal Varan with Kanda, lasun ) , Gongura Chutney.. Tangy n Spicy Andhra Chutney....n...Rice.

  French Beans Kismur Recipe.. Ingredients: 1.parasbi(french beans)- 250gms,finely chopped. 2.onion -2 small, finely chopped. 3.grated coconut - 3/4-1 wati 4.green chillies-2 long slits. 5.lemon juice -1 tsp or to taste 6.salt to taste 7.dhania leaves- finely chopped for garnishing 8.oil - to fry (appx 2-3 tb sp) Instructions: 1.heat oil in a fry pan add chopped parasbi, little  salt, green chilly and fry till its crispy and light  brown. 2.In a serving bowl, add onion,grated coconut,  little salt, fried parasbi, dhania leaves and  lemon juice and mix well. 3.garnish with dhania leaves and serve. Grated Suran Andhra Bhaji.. Yam Sabji Recipe.. Remove skin of Suran.. you can take Suran piece  as much as your need. Grate it thicker  not fine. Then place it in a dish n steam it in a steamer     or  in pressure cooker without whistle for 5 to 7  minutes. Do not add any water in grated suran. Then in a pan make tadka with 2tabsps.of ...

 Rava-Kakdi Or Taushe Doddak Or Thalipeeth Or Bhakri... ( Cucumber Doddak ).. I have used our plain regular Green Cucumber. Ingredients... Grated Cucumber (Kakdi).. 1cup..to 1/2 cup. Rava or Suji... ( Wheat Rava )... 1 cup Grated fresh Coconut...3/4 cup. Green Chilies... 3to 4 as per taste ..chopped finely. Grated Ginger... 1tsp.. or 1  inch Ginger piece. Salt..as per taste.. Sugar ..1 tsp.or Gud... Small piece as per taste. Oil.. to fry Thalipeeth or Doddak. Water..to mix dough. Method... Mix together Rava.. gratedCucumber..  grated fresh Coconut,  Finely Chopped Green  chillies, Grated Ginger, Salt, Sugar or Jaggery (Optional ), n Water as needed.. make a soft dough.. Make hands wet dipping in water  n take a small round ball n spread it on tava as a  thalipeeth or doddaks on heated tava directly.
