My Simple Thali Today..Sprouted Moong n Suran Curry.., Vaali n Red Pumpkin Koddel... ( Malabar Spinach or Mayalu Bhaji Koddel , Appinmidi Kairi (Tender small Kairi ) Pickle.., with Soft Red Boiled Rice Pej with salt n Garlic Ghee Tadka..

  Sprouted Moong n Suran Curry With Ground Coconut Masala...  Thanks to Leena Shenoy for lovely Recipe.. Recipe...  Sprout Green  Moong ..1Cup To sprout Moong soak the Moong for 6 to 7 hours. Remove water n and keep it aside overnight. In the morning you will see the Moong sprouted  suran cut into medium pieces...1cup Cook sprouted Moong n Suran pieces with salt and 1/2 tsp turmeric powder. then add 1 chopped green chilli  n cook for some more time.. Grind in to fine paste..Grated coconut... 1 cup  Dhania seeds... 1 tbsp, Cumin seeds... 1 tsp Green chillies ..4 , Haldi..1tsp, Salt  Add this fine Paste in to  the boiled Moong n Suran ...mix well. Cover and cook for some time. In a Tadka pan heat 1tabsp.of oil , add mustard seeds 1tsp. and cumin seeds 1/2tsp ,. When they splutter add curry leaves 5to 6...stir it . Home Made Chicken Kheema With Pav.....( Kheema Made with Pav Bhaji Masala )

Chicken Kheema Masala....  Finely chop 6 to 8 French Beans n  small Carrot .n boil it with salt.. then mash it  nicely..keep aside.....in a pan take 1tabsp. oil  n 1 tab sp of  butter mixed.. add finely  chopped 2  onions. Saute nicely... add Ginger Garlic paste  (Grated )..saute add 1 ig finely  chopped Tomato .saute...add 2 tabsp Tomato pureee , saute.. add salt as per taste, 1/2 tsp.  haldi ,1 tsp of red chilli powder , pinch of sugar mix it.. saute nicely..addd 1 tabsp.Pav  Bhaji masala( Badshah  Pav Bhaji Masala )..add little water n mash properly. Add 250gms  of chicken kheema. ( I make Chicken Kheema at home in a chopper with boneless chicken  piece. ).mix well add mashed veggies, i.e. French Beans n Carrot..if you want add more  pav bhaji masala add chunk of butter mix well add little water.add boiled green peas n  corriander leaves cook for 10 miuntes..  keep gravy or semi dry as  you like...switch off  gas .add lemon juice.. garnish with dhania leaves  ..serve with paav..

Mogra Panache Virshe .. Virshe is a Mangalorian word.. ( Jasmin Flower Leaves soup ).. very good for health..Anyone can have it any time..

 Mogra Panache Virshe..  This is a Soup made with the leaves of Jasmine flowers.. we can  use leaves of Jaswandi (Hibiscus ) or any Jai , Jui , Flowers..Its very healthy n light n  yummy too..very tasty..every one can have it any time they like.   Recipe.... Wash 15 to 20 Leaves n take clean leaves.. then add some water  n boil it till leaves become soft. Then Grind it in very fine paste.. In a pan roast 1 tabsp.of Jeera , 8 to 10 Black Pepper Corns..n 2 crushed Garlic cloves. Then crush these roasted things n make fine powder.. you can even grind this with  cooked leaves. Then add 1/2 to 1 liter of water in it..n keep for boiling.. add roasted powder.add salt n  sugar ( little Only for flavour)..boil it for 10 minutes atleast.. Then make tadka with1 tsp.ghee add 3 ..4  crushed Garlic cloves.. fry it till brown n add it  in the  boiling Virshe.. Virshe or Soup is ready to serve.... Try it ..you all wil love it.

My Thali Today.... Fresh Green Long Beans Dry Bhaji , Batata Talasani , Garlic Tadka Buttermilk Kadhi , Beetroot Raita , Phulka ....n.... Rice..

Fresh Green Long Beans Dry Sabji...   Recipe.. Make small pieces of Long Beans.. Make Tadka with Oil , add lots of Crushed Garlic, Rai , Curry Patta, Whole Red chilli,  n Haldi .. Add Long Beans Pieces ,add salt ,little of gud or sugar to taste (optional)..mix it nicely... add some water .keep the lid.. cook it till it becomes soft . Saute it till all water gets dry.. when it becomes completely dry.. Sabji is ready to serve.. Batata Talasani... Recipe.. Peel the Potatoes.. Make long n thin Pieces like we make for Finger Chips or French Fry.. Make Tadka with Oil , add lots of Crushed Garlic, Whole Red Chilli, fry it till brown . Add Haldi , red chilli powder, salt ,little of gud or sugar to taste (optional).. mix it nicely...keep the lid.. cook it till Potato get cooked.  Then saute it till it become slightly crisp.  Talasani is ready to  serve Beetroot Raita..  Recipe.. Cook Beetroot big pieces with some  salt n little  water. in the pressure cooker.then peel it.make  small pieces..the

My Thali Today.... Halwa ( Black Pomfret ) Bhujane, Bangda (Mackeral ) Tikhle , Garlic Tadka Dal , Baby Potato Jumping , Batata Raita or Bajji, ...n... Rice.

  Halwa ( Black Pomfret ) Bhujane... Clean and wash 5..6..Halwa Fish Pieces and apply Salt on it and  Keep aside.                                   In a kadai take big 1  Onion chopped finely add  ,3 to 4 tbsps of Oil, 4 tsp Garlic Paste, 1  tsp. Garam Masala or any Red Home made masala if you have .  1 tsp Red Chill Powder, 1/2 tsp  Haldi, Salt 1 tsp or as per taste , Fresh Corriander finely chopped 1\2 cup.Finely chopped  2 Green Chillies, 1 Finely chopped Tomato (optional ) ...Mix all this  together with your  fingers by squeezing or crushing  it gently atleast for 5 minutes till all gets well mixed  Keep it on flame  for 5 minutes. Add 2 glasses of water, 1 tsp Imli paste or kokum  and  keep the lid n boil it for 5 minutes. Add fish  Pieces in it. put the lid on. Let fish get cooked  but do not over cook this fish. Garnish with Fresh Chopped Coriander and Fish Bhujne is  ready to serve.. Bangda (Mackeral ) Tikhle.. Clean n wash Bangda fish.. keep it full if they r small or make 2 p

Choco Modaks With Marie Biscuits & Sattu Flour Ladoo...

 Choco Modaks .... Recipe... Ingredients... Condensed Milk.. about 3/4 tin of 400 gms. Marie Biscuits... 1 big packet. Cadbury's Co coa..2 to 3 tabsps. Nutella ... 4 tabsps.. If you dont have Nutella you can add 1 more tabsp of Above Cocoa powder. Butter ... (Amul) .3 tabsps. If you like nuts ..you can add pieces of chashew or walnuts (I have not used it ) Method..  Crush or powder in the grinder finely Full Marie Biscuits. Mix Cocoa powder in it. Then add Butter n Nutella in it n mix it.. Then go on adding condensed milk n knead lightly to make soft dough of it. Keep aside for 2to 3 minutes. Make small round balls n put it in the Modal moulds n make Modaks.. Makes about 40 small Modaks .. Keep it for some time.. Then nice ..yummy Modaks r ready to eat.. Sattu Flour Ladoo..  Sattu Flour is very Healthy n good .so try it instead of Besan. Recipe.... My Thali Today....Jumping Baby Potatoes , Cauliflower -Dal Ambat ,Tendli Kachrya ( Stir Fry ) , Andhra Stuffed Karela (Like Fresh Pickle ) , Phulka ...n...Rice.

Boil big10 to 15 pieces of cauliflower pieces with some salt and water. Cook1cup Toor Dal in pressure cooker till very soft. then mash it.add cauliflower pieces in it.fry less than 1/4 methi seeds in few drops of oil add 3-4 whole red bedgi chillies in it.grind together fresh 1 cup grated coconut,small piece of chich, 1/tsp haldi,and fried methi & red chillies in to a fine paste. add this ground masala in dal and cauliflower pieces mixture.add salt as per taste. , pinch sugar(optional).boil it.then make tadka of oil and add 1finely chopped onion.fry till brown and add in curry.Ambat is ready to serve. My Fish Thali....Surmai Fish curry , Goan Prawns Curry , Surmai Fry ,....n....Rice

Surmai Fish curry -  Recipe. take 5 to 5 Surmai fish pieces. ..apply salt and turmeric and leave it aside   Take 1 cup fresh grated coconut ,3 kashmiri chilies  ,1small tomato, dhaniya seeds 1 table  spoon 8 t0 10 black pepper ,1 inch tamarind, 2 Garlic cloves  ,1 small ginger piece ,n small  onion chopped,haldi and put this in the mixi and grind it very fine.   heat 1 tob2 tabsps of oil and put 1 finely chopped onion ,two green chillies and pour this  ground mixture in it.  After getting one boil leave fish pieces in it. Wait for another boil and keep the curry on  sim gas with cover. Once fish is cooked removed it from heat and garnish it with finely chopped dhania  leaves. Goan Prawns Curry..  Recipe... Wash n clean prawns. 1to 1n half cup... remove black thread from each prawn.. then  apply some salt to it.. keep aside. Grind together 1 cup fresh grated coconut, 1tabsp.of dhania seeds, 1/4 tsp. Jeera, 4 garlic  cloves, 4..5 whole red chilli, 1/2 tsp Haldi, 1/2 small onion,..1 inch

Lemon Pieces (Peels), Green Chilli n Ginger Pickle..Make Over Of Lemon Pieces After Squeezing Out Its Juice..

 Lemon Pieces (Peels), Green Chilli n Ginger Pickle..Make Over Of Lemon Pieces after Squeezing Out its juice. Always We Throw away Lemons After squeezing Juice...In my Childhood always my Aai n  Amma used to serve this pickle whenever anybody at home didnt have taste  after  sickness..So I kept this tradition live ..n learnt making this Pickle which is very easy n we  can preserve it for more than 1 year even without keeping it in the fridge.. so thought of  sharing with you all. Recipe...  Make small pieces of lemons of which we throw after squeezing its juice.. And keep it in the bottle in which you r preserving this pickle.. bottle shud be clean n  fully dry. In this bottle 1st add juice of 3 to 4 lemons.. add these lemon small pieces.. add some salt  ..shake that bottle n keep.. and then go on adding lemon pieces which you use daily then  shake that bottle n keep.. after 15 days add chopped green chilli pieces n finely chopped  Ginger as per taste.. add salt if you feel it is less.

Udid Dal n Yellow Moong Dal Dosa... Dosa Without Rice Served With Nice Yummmy Home Made Chutney Powder. With My favourite Hot Coffee

Udid Dal n Yellow Moong Dal Dosa...Without Rice.. Recipe.. Soak 1 cup Udid Dal ...n 1 cup Yellow Moong Dal in Water for 3 yo 4 hours..  Grind with Green chillies 1 or 2  as per taste..ginger small piece (optional) n hing 1/4 th tsp. n salt as per tadte .. make nice fine medium thin batter like regular Dosa.. you can make dosa immediately..no fermentation of batter. Spread this batter on tava in thin dosas..fry it from both sides applying oil from both sides till crispy. You can make plain dosa without green chilli n hing n ginger if you like.. Chutney Powder... Recipe.. 1. Roast 1 cup chana dalnin few drops of oil till slight brown..then add hing about 1tsp.on it.just before taking it from flame. 2. Then dry roast llittle less than 1/2 cup of til..fy for few 2 minutes. 3.  fry 3 to4 whole red chillies, small piece of imli 1 drop of oil. 4. Fry 1/4 cup oc curry patta in few drops of oil. 5. Bread Thalipeeth... Very Good Of Use Of Left Over Bread...

Bread Thalipeeth  Recipe... Ingredients.. Brread Slices...5 to 7 big Fine Rawa (Suji ) Green Mirchi (Chillies)..3..4 Garlic ..2 big Dhania leaves.. as needed Onion.. 1 big chopped finely Sugar... 1sp or as per taste Salt..as per taste Water.. as needed Oil.. for frying Method.. Put 5 to 6 bread slices in water..immediately press it n remove water n take it in a bowl, Then add 1cup fine rawa..add salt .little of sugar,  Add chopped finely green mirchi, dhania leaves.n little of garlic grated. ( this time I added 2tsps of green masala.i.I green chillies.,grated garlic n dhania leaves chutnney)   . Add chopped finely onion..n mix it nicely n make dough for thalipeeth.if you need some water u can sprinkle some on the dough n,make ot soft.. Take parching paper or butter paper then apply some oil n keep 1 ball of dough n press it  make round thin like  puri or chapati   Shallow fry it on a pan with applying oil from both sides,make churchuri ( crispy ) n serve it..

My Thali Today.... Mango curry....Ambya Andurli or Ambyacha Kol.., Fresh Green Math (Chavali Green leaves or Green Amaranthus Leaves ) n Magge ( Yellow Cucumber ) Randayi, Vangi Batata Bhaji... (Brinjal n Potato Curry )....Phulka n Rice.

 Mango curry....Ambya Andurli or Ambyacha Kol.. Recipe.... 1. peel outer skin of  8 to 10 mangoes.add little water in all mango peeled skin.and take out all juice from it. 2. take big vessel &put all mangoes and above juice in it. add enough water . 3. add 1/2 tsp black pepper powder,1 or 2 green chillies(optional),jaggery(gud),salt.keep for boiling. 4. add 2tabsps of rice powder mixed in some water.. and add this paste in it and let it cook for 5 minutes. 5. make tadka. heat 1tabsp.ghee add 1/2 tsp.rai,1whole red chillies ,1/2 tsp hing and  add in above curry and keep lid. 6. serve with rice. My Thali Today... Vaal Papdi Bhaji ( Fresh Green Broad Beans Bhaji ), Sprouted Alsandya Ambat ( Black Eyed Beans ), Bhendi ..Onion..Tomato Bhaji , Saundale Fish Fry...n... Rice..

 Sprouted Alsadya (Black Eyed Beans) Ambat... Recipe Soak 3 cups of black eyed beans in water for overnight,.next day remove water n keep in warm place for sprouts.then again add water in it,.n remove skin of each bean.then cook it with water n salt till it gets soft.n  well cooked...(you can cook it in pressure cooker for only 1 whistle.) Roast and 10 to 15 methi seeds and 2-3red whole chillies in 1/4tsp of oil in a tadka pan then Grind  1.1/2wati fresh coconut, small piece of chinch(tamarind),haldi, and above roasted masala with some water.make fine paste..then add this  ground masala in the mixture of well cooked beans. Add salt &mix well..boil it..  Make tadka of 1t to 2tabsps of oil,I use coconut oil add 1finely chopped onion,.fry till brown.and add in the curry.. Ambat is ready to serve with rice  Vaal Papdi Bhaji.. Recipe... Wash Fresh Vaal Papdi..make it half n see if there is any worms in side.. thenif it is there discard it..  take only beans which r clean. Then chope it

My Thali Today.. Vegetable Pulao , Tomato Saar , Kakdi..Tomato..Onion Raita... n....Papad Fry.

Vegetable Pulao.. Recipe.. Wash rice 1cup n keep for half an hour..  wash Cauliflower, make big 8to10 pieces...  make long piecs of French Beans about 5to 6..  keep ready Fresh or frozen Green peas 1/4 th cup ready..  you can add any other vegetables which you like.. In  a cooker take some oil n ghee. Add whole garam masala like lavang..dalchini..black pepper, eaichi, shahi jeeera, tej patta, dalchini. then add thin long cut 1 onion..fry for some time..  add paste of green chillies, ginger n garlic n some dhania leaves... fry till onions become slight brown..then add. add all vegetables.. fry it.. then add rice.. fry for few minutes... stir it.. n add hot water1n 1/2 cup.. n salt.. .close the cooker.. n take 1 whistle.. Pulao is ready  to serve.. with Raita. Kakdi.. Tomato.. Onion Raita... Recipe.. Grate 1 kakdi , chop finely 1 Tomato .,chop 1 Onion finely Mix everything together. add 1 cup curd.add salt as per taste.mix it  nicely. then make tadka with ghee adding  mustard seeds, curr
