Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney)

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney). Recipe.... Ingredients.. Rice Idli Rawa...2 cup Fresh Grated Coconut... 1/2 cup.. (4to 5 tabsps) Water...4 cups. For Tadka.. Oil.. 2 tabsps. Rai..1/2 tsp. Curry patta.. 8 to 10 Whole red chilli..2 or 3 Hing..1/4 tsp. Salt...as psr taste or minimum 1tsp. Sugar..1tsp.  Method.. Wash 1 wati idli rice rawa & keep. make tadka of oil,rai,red chillies,curry  patta,& hing. then add water .. while boiling add rawa,2 to 3 tabsp.grated  coconut..salt, sugar. mix it.& make it dry  like upma.. then make round undies with hand..make a  small whole in the middle.. steam it like idlis..undies r ready to serve... Serve it with Lasun Gojju. Lasun (Garlic ) Gojju ( Chutney) Recipe... Grind Grated fresh coconut 1cup with garlic 3..chinch small 2 pieces ,  3whole red  chillies & salt as per taste with little  water. sprinkle some coconut oil on it. (This is optional)

  French Beans Kismur Recipe.. Ingredients: 1.parasbi(french beans)- 250gms,finely chopped. 2.onion -2 small, finely chopped. 3.grated coconut - 3/4-1 wati 4.green chillies-2 long slits. 5.lemon juice -1 tsp or to taste 6.salt to taste 7.dhania leaves- finely chopped for garnishing 8.oil - to fry (appx 2-3 tb sp) Instructions: 1.heat oil in a fry pan add chopped parasbi, little  salt, green chilly and fry till its crispy and light  brown. 2.In a serving bowl, add onion,grated coconut,  little salt, fried parasbi, dhania leaves and  lemon juice and mix well. 3.garnish with dhania leaves and serve. Grated Suran Andhra Bhaji.. Yam Sabji Recipe.. Remove skin of Suran.. you can take Suran piece  as much as your need. Grate it thicker  not fine. Then place it in a dish n steam it in a steamer     or  in pressure cooker without whistle for 5 to 7  minutes. Do not add any water in grated suran. Then in a pan make tadka with 2tabsps.of oil,  add 1tsp. udid dal ,1/4 sp rai, little of jeera , hal

 Potato Jumping.. Recipe.. jumping potato is very easy..take little more oil  add lots of crushed garlic..after grying add  boiled baby potatoes,haldi,salt and lots of red  chilli powder..&fry it till potatoes get crisp..because it is spicy we call it potato  jumping!!!! Grind fresh 1/2 cup of grated coconut, 1/4  tsp.jeera , Black Pepper corns 5 to 6., Haldi 1/4  tsp.  Make fine paste.. add 1/2 cup whisked Dahi. Mix it nicely. Then add this mixture in cooked Ash Gourd. Add salt as per taste. Add 7to 8 Curry leaves. Boil   it just for few minutes.. Keep stirring after adding masala.do not  boil it  fully.or Dah

My Thali...Fish Masala , Coconut Tambli ( with onion,ginger)... (Thand Kadhi ) ,Cauliflower Talasani, Fish Rawa Fry.....n...Rice

 Fish Masala.. Recipe.. Wash n Clean Fish ..I have used Pink Sultan  Ibrahim (called Rani Fish in Mumbai )...5to 6  pieces. You can useany fish or prawns. Add salt and 1/2 tsp.Haldi in it.n keep it asie. Shallow Fry these pieces in oil..  Make puree of 1 big Tomao in a grinder. Take 3 to4 tab sp.of oil.. I used that fried fish oil. Add 1/2 sp.of Kalonji. (Optional). Add 3 Finely chopped garlic.. and 1 green chilli  chopped.. stir for few seconds. Add 1tsp.of grated or paste of ginger garlic. Stir it.then add 1/2 tsp.Chilli powder, Haldi1/2  tsp. And add ready Mix Masala powder1tsp. Fry it and add Tomato Puree .add salt.n mix  it..when it gets fried n well mixed add some  water as you need gravy. Then add Fried Fish pieces.. keep lid n boil it for  3to 4 minutes..  Mith  Mirsange Phovu .. We call it Kalleylelo  Phovu. ( Salt n Green Mirchi Poha ) .....   Simple...Quick...No Heating....Without Oil  Or  Tadka....With Lots Of Fresh Grated Coconut.. Ingredients..  Thin Poha.. 4 cups. Green Chillies..4 Dhania seeds...1n half tsp. Jeera..1 tsp. Fresh Grated Coconut...3/4th cup. Salt ..as per taste. Sugar..as per taste..add atleast 1tsp.you can add  little more if you like. Water or Coconut water as needed to mix...add  very little to make Poha soft. Method.. Just mix Poha..salt..sugar..fresh coconut n  crushed green mirchi..dhane..n jeera together  Sprinkle some water to make it soft.. poha is ready to serve. My Thali.... Sindhi Vegetable Kadhi , Batata Soang....Red ,Spicy curry ,Pomfret Fish Fry , Fried Sundried Sabudana batata Chakli....n.....Rice.

 SINDHI KADHI..RECIPE.. In a pan take 3to4 tsp oil and make tadka of rai,  jeera,methi seeds .. add 3 to 4 big tabsp.Besan..fry  till brown...then add some haldi,salt,& red chilli  powder..fry for 1 minute..then keep aside.in  another pan fry 8-10 long pieces of bhendi in  some oil.& keep it aside. in big kadhai or pan make tadka of jeera,methi  seeds,and fry veggies  like 5-6 potato pieces1st  then add 8-10 drumsticks pieced,then handful   gavar big pieces,6-8 , then5-6 cauliflower big  pieces.fry nicely for 7-8 minutes.. then in cooker add fried besan . add 4-5 glasses of hot water,add 2 green chillies,  add  salt as per taste .then add 3 tomotoes boiled  n ground paste.or you can add imli juice in it.,  then add all fried veggies..cook l for only one  whistle ..mix it properly..add more hot water if  needed.give nice boil..then finally add fried  bhendis..and boil it again for 2minutes without  lid..garnish with dhania leaves..and serve with  rice or rotis..   Mangalorian Crab Curry.. very tasty when served with rice,bread or chapati.. Ingredients: 1.crabs- 4/5 2.grated fresh coconut-2cups 3.long cut onions-5/6 4.garlic cloves-10 5.ginger-3/4 inch 6.kashmiri or bedgi whole red chillis-7/8 7.haldi-1tsp 8.whole garam masala-6cloves,1inch  cinnamon,dhania seeds-2tabsp.,jeera- 1/4tsp,saunf- 1/2tsp,black pepper-6/7, green elaichi-3,optional(small piece  dagadful,javitri,1/4sp khaskhas,(this is optional) 9.oil -4-5tabsp. 10.dhania leaves-finely cut-1/2cup 11.green chillies-3/4 12.salt-as per taste. 13.finely cut medium size tomatoes-3 Preparation: 1.wash crabs..clean it and make 2 pieces.. 2.grind 1/4 cup dhania leaves,green chillies, 5  garlic cloves, 2inch ginger piece without water. 3.marinate crabs with salt,haldi,and ground  green masala,keep aside. 4.take 1sp.oil in a pan roast all whole garam  masala for 1 minute 5.take 1tab sp.oil in a pan roast long cut  onions,5garlic cloves,ginger piece,fry untill light  brown add grated coconut and r

My Thali Today...Nogli or Kane (Lady Fish) Curry ,Karela (Bitter Gourd) Kachrya or Karela Stir Fry., Stuffed Green Masala Pomfret Fry , Prawns Rawa Fry, Batata Soang.( Red ,Spicy curry),...n...Rice.

 Nogli or Kane (Lady Fish) Curry Recipe..... 1. Clean n wash Nogli Fish. Apply somme Salt .n  Haldi. Keep aside. 2. Grind 1/2 cup  Fresh Coconut ,1/2tsp.Haldi,  5..6 whole red chillies, Dhania Seeds,  3 to 4 Black pepper whole, with  1/2 cup of instant coconut milk powder  n  Water as needed .n make Fine paste. 3. in a pan take this ground masala..add salt,  kokum, 2 green chillies long cut, small Ginger  piece crushed..1/2onion finely  chopped.add salt  as per taste add water as much as you need for semi thick  gravy..  Garlic Tadka Dal... Recipe.. Pressure cook 1 Cup Toor Dal  till Dal cooks very  soft.. then mash it or mix it till no  Dal  grain remains.  Add water as much you need.. keep for  boiling..add salt in it.. add haldi in it.. mix it.. boil  it properly.. keep the thickness of Dal as you like. Make tadka with Ghee add cushed lots of Garlic  n Whole Red Chilli pieces ..Fry till Garlic  gets slight Brown..add tadka in Dal.. Lasun  Tadka Dal is ready to serve. My Thali Today... Mixed Vegetables Sambhar..or Kholombo , Raw Banana Skin Chutney , Potato Jumping , Kakdi Kocholi , Crispy Cauliflower Bhajiya...n...Rice

 Mixed  Vegetables Sambhar..or Kholombo Recipe.. Mixed Vegetables  For Sambhar....Drumsticks - Small Onions-French Beans- Cook tur dal in pressure cooker till very soft.  make pieces of,tomato ,& make long pieces of  drumsticks n, French beans,small  onions , ...boil all the vegetables with some salt . For Sambhar masala... roast 1tabsp of dhania seeds,1/2tsp of jeera, 7-8 methi seeds,6-7 black pepper,  1tabsp.chana dal,1/2tsp of udid dal,5-6 curry patta, pinch haldi, hing, then add 7-8 bedgi  whole red chillies. finally add fesh 2tabsp of grated fresh coconut.roast it properly in few  drops of oil.make fine paste . ( Or you can use Readymade Sambhar Powder instead of  this ground fresh masala..) add some imli juice in it. or grind imli with this.. mix mashed cooked tur dal, this ground masala or Sambhar Powder.  add water, add cooked vegetables. add some salt ,gud .boil it properly. then add some  dhania leaves. make tadka with oil,rai,curry patta, red chilli, & n some Sambhar

My Thali.....Sprouted Bagdo (Brown Alsanda or Brown Eyed Beans) n Tender Cashewnuts Ambat.(Amti ) ,Kairi Hot n Sweet Pickle.(Methamba) , Small Prawns Phanna Upakari..Mangalore Red N Spicy Curry, Long n Thick Green Mirchi Bhajiya....n....Rice.

   Sprouted Bagdo (Brown Alsanda or Brown  Eyed Beans) n Tender Cashewnuts  Ambat... (Amti with coconut ground masala ) Recipe Soak 3 cups of Brown eyed beans in water for  overnight,.next day remove water n keep in  warm place for sprouts.then again add water in it,.  remove skin of each bean.then cook  with  peeled tender cashews  with water n salt till it  gets soft.n  well cooked...(you can cook it in  pressure cooker for only 1 whistle.) Roast and 10 to 15 methi seeds and 2-3red whole  chillies in 1/4tsp of oil in a tadka pan Grind  1.1/2wati fresh coconut, small piece of  chinch(tamarind),haldi, and above roasted  masala with some water.make fine paste..then  add this  ground masala in the mixture of  well cooked beans. Add salt &mix well..boil it..  Make tadka of 1t to 2tabsps of oil,I use coconut oil..you can use any oil  add 1finely chopped onion,.fry till brown.and  add in the curry.. Palak Potato Paratha in 10 minutes n Tomato Sauce ..

  Palak Potato Paratha in 10 minutes.. Here is recipe.. Take 15 to 20 palak leaves,wash it,chop it fine... boil 2 medium size or 1 big potato, I cooked it in micro in 3 minutes. remove skin n mash it, crush garlic n ginger n green chillies, Mix palak,1tabsp of chopped dhania  leaves..,mashed potato.,crushed  masala..., salt,,sugar to taste( optional) ,little of haldi, mix it. add wheat flour,do not add large quantity of  flour.,add only as much as you need..,mix it  add little water to mix . add some oil  knead it like chapati atta,, then roll small rotis n fry it on a pan applying  some oil from both sides,parathas will be ready  to serve,parathas become n remain very  soft,kids just loved it,, try it.

My Simple Lunch...Simple Ambemohar Rice Pulao with Fresh Green Peas., Anda Rassa or Egg red spicy curry.., Roasted Papad.

 Simple Ambemohar Rice Pulao with Fresh  Green Peas. Recipe... Wash 1 bowl of Ambemohar Rice.n keep it for 15 minutes. In a kadai take some Oil or Ghee .Add 2 Lavang Small.piece of Dalchini, 1 Tamalpatra or  Tejpatta,   1 Green Elaichi. n saute. Then add washed Rice, 1/2 bowl Fresh green  peas.Saute for 2 minutes.add 1tsp.Ginger ,garlic  paste. Saute again.add 2 Green chillies. Add  some salt. If you have Fried onions you can add  it.. (optional ). Saute .. Then add little of Garam masala. Or you can add  Shahi Biryani masala .mix it. Add 2 cups of hot water. Keep lid ..and cook it on  low flame till Rice gets well cooked.. Garnish with Dhania leaves . Simple Rice Pulao is ready to serve. Anda Rassa or Egg red spicy curry.. Recipe..
