My Thali Today.... Mixed Vegetables Sambhar..or Kholombo , Beetroot Sasam , Karela Koshimbir , Mangalorian Prawns Curry ,..n...Rice


 Beetroot Sasam... 


Recipe.

Wash 2 beetroots properly..then make it half..add some water salt & 2green 

chillies.pressure cook it for 3 whistles.

then remove skin &make small pieces of beet.. 

grind 3-4 tabsp fresh grated coconut,cooked green chillies,1/4 tsp rai,with little of beet 

boiled water.

mix 1tabsp dahi in it..&mix it with beet pieces..

If you dont want dahi in it ..you can skip it.. n grind small piece of tamarind with coconut 

masala.

make tadka of ghee rai,currypatta,1 whole red chilli,hing & pour it in sasam.

.sasam will be ready to serve.

Recipe..

Mixed Vegetables  For Sambhar....Drumsticks - Small Onions-French Beans- Brinjal, 

Magge 

Cook tur dal in pressure cooker till very soft. 

make pieces of,tomato ,& make long pieces of drumsticks n Brinjal, French beans,small 

onions ,Magge ...boil all the vegetables with some salt .


For Sambhar masala...

roast 1tabsp of dhania seeds,1/2tsp of jeera, 7-8 methi seeds,6-7 black pepper, 

1tabsp.chana dal,1/2tsp of udid dal,5-6 curry patta, pinch haldi, hing, then add 7-8 bedgi 

whole red chillies. finally add fesh 2tabsp of grated fresh coconut.roast it properly in few 

drops of oil.make fine paste . ( Or you can use Readymade Sambhar Powder instead of 

this ground fresh masala..)

add some imli juice in it. or grind imli with this..

mix mashed cooked tur dal, this ground masala or Sambhar Powder. 

add water, add cooked vegetables. add some salt ,gud .boil it properly. then add some 

dhania leaves. make tadka with oil,rai,curry patta, red chilli, & n some Sambhar 

powder...add in ready kholombo.. serve it with rice.





Karela Koshimbir...

Recipe..

Chope finely Karela..apply some sa!t n keep for 15 minutes. Then squeez it n again wash 

it water n squeez it properly to remove bitterness of karela..


heat oil in a fry pan add chopped Karela pieces, little salt, green chilly and fry till its 

crispy and light brown.

In a serving bowl, add onion,grated coconut, little salt, fried Karela, dhania leaves and 

lemon juice and mix well.

garnish with dhania leaves and serve.






Mangalorian Prawns Curry....

Recipe...


1.washed n clean Prawns...2 cups.

2.grated fresh coconut-1/2cup

3.long cut onions- 3

4.garlic cloves-5 to 6

5.ginger-3/4 inch

6.kashmiri or bedgi whole red chillis-4 to 5

7.haldi-1tsp

8.whole garam masala-4cloves,1/2 inch cinnamon,dhania seeds-1tabsp.,jeera-1/4tsp,saunf- 

1/2tsp,black pepper-6/7, n optional(small piece dagadful,javitri,1/4sp khaskhas,)

9.oil -3 tabsp.

10.dhania leaves-finely cut

11.green chillies-2

12.salt-as per taste.

13.finely cut medium size tomatoes-1  (or you can grind imli with coconut instead of Tomato )



Preparation...

wash n clean Prawns apply some salt n keep it aside.

take 1/2 sp.oil in a pan roast all whole garam masala for 1 minute

take 1tab sp.oil in a pan roast long cut onions, garlic cloves,ginger piece,fry untill light brown 

add grated coconut and roast it till coconut gets little brown.

grind above roasted garam masala,roasted onion coconut,red chillies,Haldi, little dhania leaves 

together with water and make fine paste.

Take remaining oil in  a pan .add some onion pieces,fry for 1minute.Add prawns n fry for 2to 3 

minutes. Add chopped Tomato..saute it.

Add ground above masala,salt as per taste,add water and cook it.

Garnish with Dhania leaves.

8.curry is ready to serve with rice,chapati,or bread.

Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole With coconut Garlic Chutney For Breakfast..

 Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole.. Here is recipe. Ingredients... Rice...1 cup Fresh Grated Coconut.. 1/2 cup. Sugar.. 1 tsp.(optional ) Salt.. as per taste. Water...as needed. Oil..For Frying Dosa Method... 1-soak rice for 3-4 hours in water. 2-grind rice,grated coconut,salt and sugar(optional )with water in a fine paste. 3-add some water and make that paste thin to spread dosas. 4-take non stick tawa and spread thin dosas on it 5-apply some oil on tawa to take out dosas easily. Coconut Garlic chutney.. Grind fresh 1 cup fresh grated Coconut ,  4 to 5 Garlic cloves, small piece of chinch (Imli) 2 or 3 Whole Red Chillies n salt with some  water. Chutney is ready to serve.

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney)

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney). Recipe.... Ingredients.. Rice Idli Rawa...2 cup Fresh Grated Coconut... 1/2 cup.. (4to 5 tabsps) Water...4 cups. For Tadka.. Oil.. 2 tabsps. Rai..1/2 tsp. Curry patta.. 8 to 10 Whole red chilli..2 or 3 Hing..1/4 tsp. Salt...as psr taste or minimum 1tsp. Sugar..1tsp.  Method.. Wash 1 wati idli rice rawa & keep. make tadka of oil,rai,red chillies,curry  patta,& hing. then add water .. while boiling add rawa,2 to 3 tabsp.grated  coconut..salt, sugar. mix it.& make it dry  like upma.. then make round undies with hand..make a  small whole in the middle.. steam it like idlis..undies r ready to serve... Serve it with Lasun Gojju. Lasun (Garlic ) Gojju ( Chutney) Recipe... Grind Grated fresh coconut 1cup with garlic 3..chinch small 2 pieces ,  3whole red  chillies & salt as per taste with little  water. sprinkle some coconut oil on it. (This is optional)
