My Thali Today... Mooli (Radish) Green leaves Sabji , Tomato Rasam , Sprouted Vaal Birde..(Dalimbi Usal , Carrot Tokku , Light n Healthy Rotis...Wheat Alaan Roti , ....n ...Rice...


 


Mooli (Radish) Green leaves Sabji.... 

Recipe


Wash n clean the leaves of Mooli... chop finely  about 3to 4 cups..n keep it aside..

In a pressure cooker add  2  tabsps .of oil ..add 3 Garlic cloves chopped finely ,add 1/4 tsp.of Rai , 2 Green chillies chopped , when Rai splutters add Haldi.

Add 1 finely chopped Onion,saute it ..then add 1 finely chopped Tomato.. saute it till all gets well mixed..then add 1/4 tsp.of Dhania powder, Pinch of Red chilli powder ..saute it.

Add chopped Green leaves in it.. mix it for few minutes.add salt n gud as per taste.. add 2 tabsps of  fresh grated Coconut.. mix it.. add some water..n close the pressure cooker.

Cook it for 1 or whistles.. this sabji becomes very soft n yummy to eat with Chapati or phulka.



Tomato Rasam..

Recipe...

Chop 2-3 tomatoes. grind it in mixie without water...

In a vessel take 3-4 glass water,add tomatoes,2tbsp cooked n mashed dal or you can use any left over dal..

add green chillies,crushed garlic,rasam powder.(or little sambhar powder or crushed dhania jeera n black pepper powder ) ,

Add currypatta,dhania leaves,little hing,salt,sugar(optional),imli juice,&boil for 10 minutes on low flame.if needed add more water..boil till nicce Rasam aroma comes..switch off gas.. 

Add tadka of ghee,rai,whole red chilli,hing,curry patta...i add pinch of rasam powder in tadka..tomato rasam will be ready..




Sprouted Vaal Birde..(Dalimbi Usal) ...

Recipe


Soak Vaal overnight & give them sprouts..

make tadka of oil,add rai,jeera,chopped garlic,green chillies,hing,haldi,red chilli 

powder(optional),goda masala(or pinch garam masala),

then add sprouted val in it.add 2 kokums in it.stir for few minutes.....

add water &cook it till Vaal gets soft. Then add 2tabsps of fresh grated Coconut.

then add salt as per taste,little sugar,or gud..again cook it properly.

Garnish with dhania leaves.

Vaal birde or usal is ready to serve.

If You want to make it quick then you can make directly in pressure cooker.. add salt n 

gud n everything together n just cook for 1 or 2 whistles.then garnish with dhaniia l



Carrot Tokku.. 

Recipe..

Peel Carrots 2 .. Grate Carrots..

In a pan Make Tadka With 2 tabsps of oil..add 1/4 tsp.mustard seeds. , 8 to 10 Methi Seeds.

When Musard seeds splutter add  Hing 1/4 tsp...Haldi 1/2 tsp , 1/4 tsp of any Pickle masala 

 then add Grated Carrots.. cover for 2 just minutes... Then add 1/2 tsp of lemon Juice. 

Carrot Tokku is ready to serve..




 Light n Healthy Rotis.....we call it Alaan Roti.. very Easy ..quick n Tasty Rotis..

Recipe..

 Boil 2 cup of water adding pinch of salt..  

 once it gets boil add Wheat Flour 2 cups ..mix it nicely.. then cover it.. n switch off the 

flame.. keep for 5 minutes covered.. 

then knead it nicely when it is hot.. you can use little more water of you need as water 

quantity depends on quality of flour. The dough shud be just like chapati soft atta..

Then keep it covered.. then take one by one round ball n again knead nicely n roll it 

round as big you like..

 then roast it on tawa by both sides.. just twice you have to change up n down without 

any oil... it puffs up nicely.. only good kneading is needed..you can roast it just like Phulka on flame..

then take it down apply ghee on it.. it remains soft for long time ..even till next day..

 we can eat it with any powder chutney..or wet chutneys or with any curries...

I make it  regularly..

Tastes good when you serve it with thin Sev..

Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole With coconut Garlic Chutney For Breakfast..

 Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole.. Here is recipe. Ingredients... Rice...1 cup Fresh Grated Coconut.. 1/2 cup. Sugar.. 1 tsp.(optional ) Salt.. as per taste. Water...as needed. Oil..For Frying Dosa Method... 1-soak rice for 3-4 hours in water. 2-grind rice,grated coconut,salt and sugar(optional )with water in a fine paste. 3-add some water and make that paste thin to spread dosas. 4-take non stick tawa and spread thin dosas on it 5-apply some oil on tawa to take out dosas easily. Coconut Garlic chutney.. Grind fresh 1 cup fresh grated Coconut ,  4 to 5 Garlic cloves, small piece of chinch (Imli) 2 or 3 Whole Red Chillies n salt with some  water. Chutney is ready to serve.

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney)

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney). Recipe.... Ingredients.. Rice Idli Rawa...2 cup Fresh Grated Coconut... 1/2 cup.. (4to 5 tabsps) Water...4 cups. For Tadka.. Oil.. 2 tabsps. Rai..1/2 tsp. Curry patta.. 8 to 10 Whole red chilli..2 or 3 Hing..1/4 tsp. Salt...as psr taste or minimum 1tsp. Sugar..1tsp.  Method.. Wash 1 wati idli rice rawa & keep. make tadka of oil,rai,red chillies,curry  patta,& hing. then add water .. while boiling add rawa,2 to 3 tabsp.grated  coconut..salt, sugar. mix it.& make it dry  like upma.. then make round undies with hand..make a  small whole in the middle.. steam it like idlis..undies r ready to serve... Serve it with Lasun Gojju. Lasun (Garlic ) Gojju ( Chutney) Recipe... Grind Grated fresh coconut 1cup with garlic 3..chinch small 2 pieces ,  3whole red  chillies & salt as per taste with little  water. sprinkle some coconut oil on it. (This is optional)
