My Thali... Chana Upakri Or Sundal , Palak Egg, Red Pumpkin Raita... Lal Bhoplyache Raita , Dal with Dhansak Masala....n....Rice



 Chana Upakri Or Sundal...

Recipe..


Soak 2 cups Brown Chana in water over night or 

for 5-6 hours. 

then cook it in pressure cooker with some salt

 till soft and well cooked.(cook for 2 ..3 whistles ) 

then remove water from it  and keep it aside.

Grind 1/2 cup Fresh Grated Coconut with 3 

whole Red  Chillies without water.. just pulse it 

in the grinder.

In a pan make tadka with 1tabsp.coconut oil (or 

any other oil), add  1tsp.mustardseeds,1/2 

tspn.udid Dal (this is optional ),1green chilli,

1red chilli, 5-6 currypatta, 1/4 tsp.hing. 

After this tadka gets ready add pulsed coconut   

mixture...stir it nicely.

then add cooked Chana in it.. 

add 1tsp. gud ,salt as per taste...

mix well add some boiled Chana water in it..

keep on flame till Chana gets well mixed with 

masala.. n till it beco.es dry completely.

Chana Upkari or Sundal is ready to serve.




Palak Egg...


Recipe...

Ingredients:

1.Palak bunch-1

2.Eggs-4-5

3.Green chillies-3-4

4.Ginger grated-1tabsp.

5.Garlic grated-1tabsp.

6.Haldi-1/4tsp.

7.Dhania powder-1tsp.

8.Jeera powder-1/4tsp.

9.Red chilli powder-1/4tsp or as per taste.

10.Onions-2.

11.Butter-1tabsp.

12.Oil-1tabsp.

13.Whole garam masala-Tejpatta 2 ,1 small 

Dalchini piece, 2 Elaichi, 6-7 Blck pepper.

14.tomatoes-1

15.Fresh cream-1-2tabsp.(optional)


Preparation:


1.Boil water in a vessel,add palk leaves,green chillies.keep for 1 minute.and strain it and keep it under

tap water for1 minute..then grind it.make fine paste.

2.Boil eggs,shell it  and make 2 pieces.

3.In a pan take oil, add all whole garam masala..i.e.tejpatta,lavang, dalchini,elaichi,black pepper.then

add finely chopped onions.fry for 2 minutes.add grated ginger,grated garlic..saute again till raw smell

vanishes..

4.Add finely chopped tomato.fry till it gets soft.

5.Add dhania powder,jeera powder,haldi,red chilli powder.fry till all masala gets mixed properly.

6.Then add egg pieces.add salt as per taste.saute for 2-3 minutes.

7.Add palak paste.mix it for 2 minutes.

8.Add fresh cream if you like..mix it.

9.Palak Egg is ready to serve..



Red Pumpkin Raita... Lal Bhoplyache Raita...

Recipe..

peel red Pumpkin.. make pieces of it.. add some 

salt & little water ..boil it & cook it till 

soft..

after cooling mash it..then add finely chopped 

onions, dahi, little salt .

add tadka of ghee,rai jeera,chopped green chilli 

& mix it.. 

Garnish with dhania leaves.



Dal with Dhansak Masala..

Recipe..

Wash n Soak  Toor dal with any measure, 

Masoor dal n Moong dal half of  that 

measurement.

Then cook it with adding small piece of 

pumpkin n 1 potato pieces. N salt in pressure 

cooker till dal gets cooked very soft .n well 

cooked.

Then churn this dal properly.

Make Tadka with butter n some oil.add 1 small 

chopped Onion, Green chilli, chopped Garlic n 

Ginger fry till onion gets brown n well fried..

Add Tomato pieces..fry it till it becomes soft.. 

add Haldi, n Ready Dhansak masala powder as 

much as you like.

Pour this tadka in the mixture of dal.. adjust salt

Add pinch of sugar..add water as much as you 

need..but this dal should be thick.boil it nicely.

Garnish with Dhania leaves n serve.

 Maharashtrian Goda Masala...    Its a Home made Fresh Maharashtrian  Brahmani Goda Masala powder..I use this this  Masala in my regular  dishes like Amti, Bharali  Vangi, or any vegetables , Many Vegetable   Sabjis,  Dal Rice Khichdi, or Masale Bhaat , we  can even spread this Masala with some oil on  rotis n make rolls n eat. We can make Masala  Chapati. It us used in making Cutlets.. we can  add it in aby non veg dishes with eggs, fish or  meat..  Ingredients..   Use same Big Wati or Cup for measurement . 1...Dhane ( Dry Coriander Seeds )... 4 Big Wati. 2...Regular Jeera (Cummin Seeds.)... 1/2 Wati 3....Shaha Jeera.. 6 tsps. 4...Lavang (Cloves ).... 4 tsps. 5...Dalchini (Cinnamon)... 8 to 10 pieces about 2  inch each. 6.... Bread Thalipeeth... Very Good Of Use Of Left Over Bread...

Bread Thalipeeth  Recipe... Ingredients.. Brread Slices...5 to 7 big Fine Rawa (Suji ) Green Mirchi (Chillies)..3..4 Garlic ..2 big Dhania leaves.. as needed Onion.. 1 big chopped finely Sugar... 1sp or as per taste Salt..as per taste Water.. as needed Oil.. for frying Method.. Put 5 to 6 bread slices in water..immediately press it n remove water n take it in a bowl, Then add 1cup fine rawa..add salt .little of sugar,  Add chopped finely green mirchi, dhania leaves.n little of garlic grated. ( this time I added 2tsps of green masala.i.I green chillies.,grated garlic n dhania leaves chutnney)   . Add chopped finely onion..n mix it nicely n make dough for thalipeeth.if you need some water u can sprinkle some on the dough n,make ot soft.. Take parching paper or butter paper then apply some oil n keep 1 ball of dough n press it  make round thin like  puri or chapati   Shallow fry it on a pan with applying oil from both sides,make churchuri ( crispy ) n serve it..
