My Simple Thali Today... Alu Stems Saar.. ( Venti Menas ).. Bhajichya Alu che deth , Radish n Onion Sukke, Padwal Seeds Chutney.... (Snake Gourd Seeds Chutney )...n...Rice.


  Alu Stems Saar.. ( Venti Menas ).. Bhajichya Alu che deth. This is a Mangalorian Dish.

Recipe..

its very easy,
remove thin skin from alu stems.make long pieces,

add water 1 or 2 kokum..crushed garlic.green chilli long cut..

Add salt.,little gud,.boil it till stems get soft.

it needs only 3 to 5 minutes.

then add tadka with ghee .,lots of crushed garlic,.n whole red chilli .

.stems saar is b teady to serve.




Radish n Onion Sukke... 

                         Recipe..

                     This is a Mangalorean dish.. 


Peel the Radish. make big pieces of it. add 1

 Onion big pieces,add salt & water .

then cook it till soft  in a pan.

then in a tadka pan fry 1\2 tabsp. of dhania

 seeds, 1/2tsp of white udid dal,5 to 6methi

 seeds.& 3-4 red whole chillies in few drops of oil.

then grind fresh grated coconut, above fried

 things,haldi,&little of chinch wtth water & make 

paste. 

then add it in cooked Radish...add little gud,

some salt.& boil it till masala gets well mixed

 with cooked Radish.. keep very little gravy..it 

shud be sukka.

then add tadka with coconut oil,rai,currypatta   

 in it..  sukke is ready to serve.




Padwal Seeds Chutney.... (Snake Gourd Seeds)

Recipe...

Take all Padwal seeds which r removed while 

making padwal bhaji.

Then in a pan add 1 tabsp of oil..add 1/2 tsp.of 

White Udid Dal,  pinch of Rai , 3 dry whole red 

chillies,1 green chilli..fry it for few minutes then 

add  Padwal seeds..you can take small piece of 

padwal chopped in pieces(.this is optional)

fry it till slight brown add 2 tabsps.of Fresh 

grated Coconut, n small round ball of 

imli.. Fry till coconut gets slightly brown..add  6 

to 8 Garlic cloves.fry for some time...,add salt n 

small piece of Gud.(optional).

Grind it in coarse Chutney adding some water.. 

Yummy spicy chutney is ready to serve

Tastes good when you serve it with thin Sev..

Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole With coconut Garlic Chutney For Breakfast..

 Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole.. Here is recipe. Ingredients... Rice...1 cup Fresh Grated Coconut.. 1/2 cup. Sugar.. 1 tsp.(optional ) Salt.. as per taste. Water...as needed. Oil..For Frying Dosa Method... 1-soak rice for 3-4 hours in water. 2-grind rice,grated coconut,salt and sugar(optional )with water in a fine paste. 3-add some water and make that paste thin to spread dosas. 4-take non stick tawa and spread thin dosas on it 5-apply some oil on tawa to take out dosas easily. Coconut Garlic chutney.. Grind fresh 1 cup fresh grated Coconut ,  4 to 5 Garlic cloves, small piece of chinch (Imli) 2 or 3 Whole Red Chillies n salt with some  water. Chutney is ready to serve.

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney)

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney). Recipe.... Ingredients.. Rice Idli Rawa...2 cup Fresh Grated Coconut... 1/2 cup.. (4to 5 tabsps) Water...4 cups. For Tadka.. Oil.. 2 tabsps. Rai..1/2 tsp. Curry patta.. 8 to 10 Whole red chilli..2 or 3 Hing..1/4 tsp. Salt...as psr taste or minimum 1tsp. Sugar..1tsp.  Method.. Wash 1 wati idli rice rawa & keep. make tadka of oil,rai,red chillies,curry  patta,& hing. then add water .. while boiling add rawa,2 to 3 tabsp.grated  coconut..salt, sugar. mix it.& make it dry  like upma.. then make round undies with hand..make a  small whole in the middle.. steam it like idlis..undies r ready to serve... Serve it with Lasun Gojju. Lasun (Garlic ) Gojju ( Chutney) Recipe... Grind Grated fresh coconut 1cup with garlic 3..chinch small 2 pieces ,  3whole red  chillies & salt as per taste with little  water. sprinkle some coconut oil on it. (This is optional)
