My Simple Thali Today...Phodnicha Bhaat , Kokum Saar , Methi Batata Rassa Bhaji , Kairi pickle without red chilli powder or oil.
Phodnicha Bhaat..
Recipe..
Wash rice n keep it for atleast half an hour.
Then cook it in water ..do not overcook.you can
even use left over steamed rice if you have.
Then in a pan take some oil..add 2cloves, 4 to 5
Black pepper.Rai, Jeera, currypatta, hing, haldi,
green chilli 1 red whole chilli..when tadka
becomes ready addC hopped onion..fry till it becomes soft.
Then add Cooked rice, salt ,little of sugar,
Dhania leaves.
Mix it properly..
phodnicha Bhaat is ready to serve.
KOKUM SAAR..
Recipe..
1.In a vessel take 4-5cups of water.add 3-4
kokums in it. If its fresh take only 1 or 2..that is
enough.
2.Add 3-4 crushed garlic,2chopped green
chillies,some dhania leaves.add salt,and sugar
as per taste..
3.Boil it nicely .till it gets pink colour .
4.make tadka of 1tabsp.ghee with 5-6 crushed
garlics,and 2 whole red chillies.add in the
saar.
5.garnish with dhania leaves and kokum saar is
ready to serve.
Kairi pickle without red chilli powder or oil..
Recipe..
Chop kairi into small pieces..
Add salt, Ginger pieces n green chilli pieces
And keep it in bottle ..you can preserve it for
4 to 5 days .
Methi Batata Rassa Bhaji
Recipe...
Chop 1 Bunch methi leaves. 1 Onion , 1 Big
Batata ..chop in to small pieces.
Make tadka with Rai, Jeera, Currypatta, Hing,
Haldi, ...Add Green chilli, chopped Onion fry for
few minutes. Add chopped Potato ..mix it n fry n
.. after few minutes add 1 tab sp of besan mixed
In some water..mix it nicely ..add chilli powder
Salt, gud as needed.. keep lid.. n cook it till
potato gets well cooked.. then add chopped
Methi leaves..mix it..keep lid n cook for 3 to
4minutes.
keep some gravy in this. Do not make fully dry.
