My Sunday Thali....Baingan Bharta , Cabbge Bhaji , Nogli or Kane (Lady Fish ) Ambat (Curry ), Cabbage Koshimbir , Roti...n...Rice.


 Baingan Bharta...

Recipe...


Apply oil to Big Baingan / Brinjal.

Roast the big Brinjal directly on flame turning its sides  or roast it on tawa.

Roast it till the outer skin of brinjal is black and from inside it is cooked and becomes soft.

Let it cool.

Peel the skin of brinjal with hands... discard it.

Then keep it on a plate.mash the brinjal with the help of hands

In a pan take oil.

When its hot ,add Jeera.add green chillies chopped finely, add garlic finely chopped or 

grated..Add little more ginger grated.

Fry it for few minutes.

Add finely chopped onion,fry it for 2 minutes..  then add finely chopped tomato to it.

Fry  till the onion gets slighltly pink n gets well mixed with tomato.

Add salt ,haldi, ,red chilli powder, Dhania seeds powder.

MIx well..fry till oil separates from masala..

Finally add brinjal and mix well till everything gets well mixed.

Garnish with dhania leaves.

Baingan Bharta is ready to serve..



Cabbage Bhaji....

Recipe... Chop Cabbage  in thin long pieces..you can grate it .

Chop finely 1 onion..n 1 tomato.

Make Tadka in a pan with oil , add Rai ,Jeera ,Currypatta ,green chillies ,little of Udid dal ( optional ) , Hing n haldi.. 

Then add finely chopped onion, n tomato.

Then add Cabbage in it.. Mix it.. 

Add little of Dhane n Jeera powder ..add some Dhania leaves , add salt.. n cover it .

Cook it for 4to 5 minutes on low flame.. garnish it with fresh grated coconut n dhania 

leaves n serve..




Nogli or Kane (Lady Fish) Curry

Recipe.....

1. Clean n wash Nogli Fish. Apply somme Salt .n Haldi. Keep aside.

2. Grind Fresh Coconut ,Haldi, whole red chilli, Dhania Seeds, small piece of Onion.with 

Water.n make Fine paste,

3. in a pan take this ground masala..add salt, kokum, green chilli long cut, Ginger piece 

long thin pieces.1/ onion finely  chopped.add water as much as you need..Boil  it 

properly,,then add Fish in this curry n just give a boil..

4. Make Tadka with Coconut Oil n 1/2 finely chopped Onion.Add it in Fish Curry., n serve.



Cabbage Koshimbir (Salad )... 

Grate cabbage..add some  finely chopped 1/2 small onion..add 2tabsps of fresh grated coconut.

add salt,  lemon juice mix it properly 

add tadka with gheee ..rai.. currypatta, dry red whole chilly, 1chopped green chilly, n add in the salad..mix it..

garnish with dhania leaves n serve..

.add fresh grated coconut,& dhania leaves

Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole With coconut Garlic Chutney For Breakfast..

 Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole.. Here is recipe. Ingredients... Rice...1 cup Fresh Grated Coconut.. 1/2 cup. Sugar.. 1 tsp.(optional ) Salt.. as per taste. Water...as needed. Oil..For Frying Dosa Method... 1-soak rice for 3-4 hours in water. 2-grind rice,grated coconut,salt and sugar(optional )with water in a fine paste. 3-add some water and make that paste thin to spread dosas. 4-take non stick tawa and spread thin dosas on it 5-apply some oil on tawa to take out dosas easily. Coconut Garlic chutney.. Grind fresh 1 cup fresh grated Coconut ,  4 to 5 Garlic cloves, small piece of chinch (Imli) 2 or 3 Whole Red Chillies n salt with some  water. Chutney is ready to serve.

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney)

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney). Recipe.... Ingredients.. Rice Idli Rawa...2 cup Fresh Grated Coconut... 1/2 cup.. (4to 5 tabsps) Water...4 cups. For Tadka.. Oil.. 2 tabsps. Rai..1/2 tsp. Curry patta.. 8 to 10 Whole red chilli..2 or 3 Hing..1/4 tsp. Salt...as psr taste or minimum 1tsp. Sugar..1tsp.  Method.. Wash 1 wati idli rice rawa & keep. make tadka of oil,rai,red chillies,curry  patta,& hing. then add water .. while boiling add rawa,2 to 3 tabsp.grated  coconut..salt, sugar. mix it.& make it dry  like upma.. then make round undies with hand..make a  small whole in the middle.. steam it like idlis..undies r ready to serve... Serve it with Lasun Gojju. Lasun (Garlic ) Gojju ( Chutney) Recipe... Grind Grated fresh coconut 1cup with garlic 3..chinch small 2 pieces ,  3whole red  chillies & salt as per taste with little  water. sprinkle some coconut oil on it. (This is optional)
