Today is World Vada Paav Day..so Enjoy My Special Vada Pav..n...Batata Vada With Yummy Spicy Red Chutney


 Batata Vada...

Recipe...

Boil 6to 8 Medium Potatoes in Pressure Cooker.. 

Then Remove the skins..n mash it roughly n keep aside.

Then crush 5to 6 Green chillies , 1 inch of Ginger

 6to 8 Garlic cloves..together.

Then Make Tadka in kadhai with 1tabsp.of oil.. 

add 1/4 tsp Rai, 1/4 tsp.Jeera , 5 to 6 Curry patta

Add hing powder 1/2 tsp. n Haldi less then 1/4 tsp

Then add crushed above green masala.fry for 

few seconds ..

Add mashed Potatoes in it.. add salt as per taste.

Add pinch of sugar to get slightly sweet taste.this

 is optional. Add lots of finely chopped Dhania

 leaves.

Then mix it.. after it is cooled down make  

Round shaped balls n just press it little to mke 

slightly flat.

Make medium thin batter with 1 cup of water

 added with salt, haldi, red chilli powder, hing

 powder.

Then add Besan much as as you need to make

 batter..If you want crispy Vadas then add 

2tabsps of Rice Powder with Besan.. 

Make batter . Add 1 tabsp of hot oil in it.. it 

makes vadas crispy.

Then dip the Round flat Vadas in the batter n 

deep fry it till brown n crispy on medium flame.



Yummy Spicy Red Chutney ...

one day I asked 1 wada pav wala at vada pav stall abt how they make so tasty

 chutney..so he told me that

 this is the recipe..so simple,no need of coconut &all...now i make same chutney whenever I make Vadas or Bhajiyas..

  Collect all Boondies of besan batter while frying Vadas..

& finally whatever batter remained  fry it like Boondis,,then put it in mixie with grated 

garlic,& red chilli powder & little salt..grind it..chutney is ready...

You can use it when u make vada pav as well!!!all enjoyed this chutney..try it!!!

Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole With coconut Garlic Chutney For Breakfast..

 Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole.. Here is recipe. Ingredients... Rice...1 cup Fresh Grated Coconut.. 1/2 cup. Sugar.. 1 tsp.(optional ) Salt.. as per taste. Water...as needed. Oil..For Frying Dosa Method... 1-soak rice for 3-4 hours in water. 2-grind rice,grated coconut,salt and sugar(optional )with water in a fine paste. 3-add some water and make that paste thin to spread dosas. 4-take non stick tawa and spread thin dosas on it 5-apply some oil on tawa to take out dosas easily. Coconut Garlic chutney.. Grind fresh 1 cup fresh grated Coconut ,  4 to 5 Garlic cloves, small piece of chinch (Imli) 2 or 3 Whole Red Chillies n salt with some  water. Chutney is ready to serve.

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney)

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney). Recipe.... Ingredients.. Rice Idli Rawa...2 cup Fresh Grated Coconut... 1/2 cup.. (4to 5 tabsps) Water...4 cups. For Tadka.. Oil.. 2 tabsps. Rai..1/2 tsp. Curry patta.. 8 to 10 Whole red chilli..2 or 3 Hing..1/4 tsp. Salt...as psr taste or minimum 1tsp. Sugar..1tsp.  Method.. Wash 1 wati idli rice rawa & keep. make tadka of oil,rai,red chillies,curry  patta,& hing. then add water .. while boiling add rawa,2 to 3 tabsp.grated  coconut..salt, sugar. mix it.& make it dry  like upma.. then make round undies with hand..make a  small whole in the middle.. steam it like idlis..undies r ready to serve... Serve it with Lasun Gojju. Lasun (Garlic ) Gojju ( Chutney) Recipe... Grind Grated fresh coconut 1cup with garlic 3..chinch small 2 pieces ,  3whole red  chillies & salt as per taste with little  water. sprinkle some coconut oil on it. (This is optional)
