My Thali Today...Neer Phanas n White Peas Shak... (Div Kadgi with Safed dry Vatana Karwari Curry ) , Tendli Kachrya or Tendli Stir Fry, Palak Patal Bhaji... Palak with Chana dal n Groundnut Curry , Cabbage Vadi, n... Rice.


 

Neer Phanas n White Peas Shak... (Div Kadgi with Safed dry Vatana Karwari Curry )

recipe..

Soak  White dry Peas over night ...

then cook it in pressure cooker..

remove skin of neer phanas n  make medium pieces .add some salt n water.. n cook it till it gets well cooked..

then roast 1 tabsp,of dhania seeds in 1/2 tsp of oil add red chilli in it,,grind fresh coconut 

grated..n roasted dhania seeds n ed chillies,.imli..pich,of haldi..with water make fine paste.

add it in cooked peas n phanas..while boiling add 4-5 crushed teppal ( tirfal)..boil it..

if you like spread some coconut oil while boiling.. Or you can add crushed garlic n 

coconut oil tadka in to it,.this is optional.

Shak is ready to serve with Steamed rice.

Wash n chop round thin slices of Tendli .. about 2to 3 cups.

In a Pan take 2to 3 tab oil.. after it becomes hot add Tendli slices in it.. Saute it.. then keep lid for some time n cook till tendli pieces become slightly soft ..then remove lid n keep frying it onmlow flame till it become slightly crisp n brown.. 

switch off the gas ..add salt n Red chilli powder as per taste.. mix it.cover it n keep.. 

Tendli Stir fry is ready to serve.

Methi Batata Bhaji..Recipe. In a pan heat oil .add some  rai,3 crushed garlic fry little,add hing,haldi,red chilli powder. add green chillies,then add 1finely chopped big  onions,fry for few seconds   add potato pieces.add sugar,salt and cover the pan , cook till potatoes get cooked.add methi leaves.cook for few minutes.use little water if you need . Cook for 2to 3 minutes.. Methi potato bhaji is ready to serve. Gajarachi Koshimbir. ( Carrot Salad )...recipe..  Peel 2 Carrots.. Then Grate it. In A Bowl take Grated Carrot..add Finely chopped little of Onion ( optional..you can skip it.. ),  Add 1to 2 tabsps of Grated Fresh Coconut ,Salt, Lemon Juice.  Mix it properly..Then add Tadka with Ghee , Rai, Curry Patta, Green chilli, small whole  red Chilli , Hing.. Mix it.. Garnish With Dhania Leaves n serve it. Takachi Kadhi.. (Butter Milk Kadhi ).... recipe... Mix 2 tabsps of Besan in 2 to 3 cups of Buttermilk.. Make tadka with Ghee ,some Rai, Jeera, me...

 Rava-Kakdi Or Taushe Doddak Or Thalipeeth Or Bhakri... ( Cucumber Doddak ).. I have used our plain regular Green Cucumber. Ingredients... Grated Cucumber (Kakdi).. 1cup..to 1/2 cup. Rava or Suji... ( Wheat Rava )... 1 cup Grated fresh Coconut...3/4 cup. Green Chilies... 3to 4 as per taste ..chopped finely. Grated Ginger... 1tsp.. or 1  inch Ginger piece. Salt..as per taste.. Sugar ..1 tsp.or Gud... Small piece as per taste. Oil.. to fry Thalipeeth or Doddak. Water..to mix dough. Method... Mix together Rava.. gratedCucumber..  grated fresh Coconut,  Finely Chopped Green  chillies, Grated Ginger, Salt, Sugar or Jaggery (Optional ), n Water as needed.. make a soft dough.. Make hands wet dipping in water  n take a small round ball n spread it on tava as a  thalipeeth or doddaks on heated tava directly. My Simple Fish Thali After a Long Time.. Bangada Tikhle , Bangda ( Mackerel ) n Bombil (Bombay Duck ) Fry , onion ..n...Rice.

 Bangda (Mackerel )Fish Tikhle Recipe... clean 4 Bangda fish & make 2 or 3 pieces ...add salt,haldi and keep aside  roast10-12 red Bedgi chillies in few drops of oil for 1 minute. grind 2tabsp grated coconut,red chillies,1.4tsp haldi,2-3 garlic cloves, 1/4 sp of Dhania  seeds, 3..4 Black pepper , 3 to4 Tirphala ,small ball of tamarind.make fine,smooth paste  with water. Boil ground masala, by adding some more water. add  Bangda pieces in it.. and boil it  for  5 minutes... sprinkle coconut oil on it..n cover it.curry is ready to serve.. cover with lid. Tikhle is ready..serve with Rice. Bangda n Bombil Fry.. Recipe.. Clean n wash fish pieces n make 2 pieces of Bangda n Bombil..slit Bombil to make it flat. Or open.
