My Thali Today... Padval Dumbells.. Stuffed Padvals or Stuffed Snake Gourd.,Garlic Tadka Dal. Vangi Talasani.. (Brinjal Sabji ).Potato Bhajiya ,Chow Chow or Chayote Vegetable Phodi., Beetrooot Raita....n.....Rice..



Garlic Tadka Dal...Recipe..

Pressure cook 1 Cup Toor Dal  till Dal cooks very soft.. then mash it or mix it till no  Dal grain remains. 

Add water as much you need.. keep for boiling..add salt in it.. add haldi in it.. mix it.. boil it properly.. keep the thickness of Dal as you like.

Make tadka with Ghee add cushed lots of Garlic n Whole Red Chilli pieces ..Fry till Garlic gets slight Brown..add tadka in Dal.. Lasun Tadka Dal is ready to serve.



Vangi Talasani.. (Brinjal Sabji )...


Recipe..


Make long n medium thin pieces of any  Size of Vangi  .. 250gms.


In a pan make Tadka with oil 2 tabsps.. add crushed Garlic cloves..7to 8 , Add whole red 


chilli pieces..1 or 2..


Then add Vangi pieces in it.. add 1/4tsp.of Haldi , n 1/4 tsp of red chilli powder.. mix 


it..then add salt n pinch of sugar or small piece of gud ( you can skip this..this is optional ) 


Then cover it with lid.. cook just fir 2 to 3 minutes.. then remove lid.. n stir fry it till 


slightly crisp.. 


Vangi Talasani is ready to serve




Potato Bhajiya.....

Recipe..

Peel the Potatoes..Make round n thin  pieces of  it..add salt, red chilli powder ..mix it 

nicely n keep aside.

Make batter of besan with 2 tabsps of Rice powder,hing,salt,chilli powder,dhania 

leaves,water.. 

Dip each Potato piece  in the batter properly..  they shoud be coated properly with the batter..

Then Deep fry Bhajiyas till crispy....




Chow Chow or Chayote Vegetable  Phodi..

Recipe..

Make medium thin pieces of Chayote as shown in my thali pic..

Add Salt, Haldi n Red Chilli powder n Hing in it..

 Mix it well.

Add Rice powder n some Besan in it  till all pieces get well covered..

Then shallow fry these Phodis till it become crispy...


Beetroot Raita..

 Recipe..

Cook Beetroot big pieces with some  salt n little 

water. in the pressure cooker.then peel it.make 

small pieces..then add finely chopped 

onions.add  curd.add salt if you need.mix it 

nicely.then make tadka with ghee adding 

mustard seeds, currypatta, red whole chilli 

piece, choppped green chilli, n pinch of hing.add

 it in the Raita

Methi Batata Bhaji..Recipe. In a pan heat oil .add some  rai,3 crushed garlic fry little,add hing,haldi,red chilli powder. add green chillies,then add 1finely chopped big  onions,fry for few seconds   add potato pieces.add sugar,salt and cover the pan , cook till potatoes get cooked.add methi leaves.cook for few minutes.use little water if you need . In A Bowl take Grated Carrot..add Finely chopped little of Onion ( optional..you can skip it.. ),  Add 1to 2 tabsps of Grated Fresh Coconut ,Salt, Lemon Juice.  Mix it properly..Then add Tadka with Ghee , Rai, Curry Patta, Green chilli, small whole  red Chilli , Hing.. Mix it.. Garnish With Dhania Leaves n serve it. Takachi Kadhi.. (Butter Milk Kadhi ).... recipe... Mix 2 tabsps of Besan in 2 to 3 cups of Buttermilk.. Make tadka with Ghee ,some Rai, Jeera, me...

Rava-Kakdi Or Taushe Doddak Or Thalipeeth Or Bhakri... ( Cucumber Doddak ).. I have used our plain regular Green Cucumber

 Rava-Kakdi Or Taushe Doddak Or Thalipeeth Or Bhakri... ( Cucumber Doddak ).. I have used our plain regular Green Cucumber. Ingredients... Grated Cucumber (Kakdi).. 1cup..to 1/2 cup. Rava or Suji... ( Wheat Rava )... 1 cup Grated fresh Coconut...3/4 cup. Green Chilies... 3to 4 as per taste ..chopped finely. Grated Ginger... 1tsp.. or 1  inch Ginger piece. Salt..as per taste.. Sugar ..1 tsp.or Gud... Small piece as per taste. Oil.. to fry Thalipeeth or Doddak. Water..to mix dough. Method... My Simple Fish Thali After a Long Time.. Bangada Tikhle , Bangda ( Mackerel ) n Bombil (Bombay Duck ) Fry , onion ..n...Rice.

 Bangda (Mackerel )Fish Tikhle Recipe... clean 4 Bangda fish & make 2 or 3 pieces ...add salt,haldi and keep aside  roast10-12 red Bedgi chillies in few drops of oil for 1 minute. grind 2tabsp grated coconut,red chillies,1.4tsp haldi,2-3 garlic cloves, 1/4 sp of Dhania  seeds, 3..4 Black pepper , 3 to4 Tirphala ,small ball of tamarind.make fine,smooth paste  with water. Boil ground masala, by adding some more water. add  Bangda pieces in it.. and boil it  for  5 minutes... sprinkle coconut oil on it..n cover it.curry is ready to serve.. cover with lid.
