Stuffed Shallow Fried Karela ( Bitter Gourds )..
Maharashtrian styled Bharli Karli.

Ingredients..

1.Small Karelas..8 to 10

2.Pea nuts..1/2 cup

3. Grated Dry Coconut..2tabsps.

4. White Til... 2tabsps.

5. Goda Masala ,or Any available Masala powder like Koli masala, or Kanda lasun masala, or Malvani masala.

6. Salt.as per taste.

7.Haldi..1tsp for applying Karela n 1/4 tsp for masala.

8.Dhania leaves..3 to 4 tabsps chopped.

9.. Garlic..3 cloves.

10. Red chilli powder.

11.oil..as needed  to shallow fry Karelas.

12. Jeera..1/4 tsp.

13.. Green Chillies..1 or 2 



Method..

If you dont have small Karelas then take big 4 

karelas n make half of it .. 

Then wash it n wipe it.. 

Give a verical slit to karelas from up to down. 

Remove inner part of seeds with spoon.

Then in a plate take 1 tsp of salt n 1 tsp of haldi.. 

mix it nicely.. n rub this mixture inside of 

Karelas with a finger or spoon.

Keep it aside.

Then in a steamer or pressure cooker keep this 

plate with Karelas.

Steam it for 10 minutes till it becomes slightly cooked n soft.

Then wash karelas dipping it in a pot with water .
Remove haldi n salt . Wash it like this for twice.

After washing it Karala's bitterness is removed.


For Stuffing Masalas..

In a pan roast peanuts 1/2 cup, 2 tabsps of

 Whilte Til, n 2tabsps of grated dry coconut... 

Add garlic 3 cloves grated or chopped, 1 green 

chilli, 1/4tsp of Jeera,  while frying. 

Then powder it with some salt, red chilli powder ,
Goda masala ,haldi, as per taste..

 you can use any home made masalas avilable 

with you like Koli masala, Goda masala, or 

kanda lasun masalaor Malvani masala.

Add some chopped Dhania leaves.. mix it nicely..

Stuff it all karelas.

In a pan or Tawa add some oil.. sprinkle some 

salt.. n arrange stuffed Karelas in it.

Shallow fry it till it becomes brown from all 

sides.. 

Serve it with rotis or Dal Chawal.

  French Beans Kismur Recipe.. Ingredients: 1.parasbi(french beans)- 250gms,finely chopped. 2.onion -2 small, finely chopped. 3.grated coconut - 3/4-1 wati 4.green chillies-2 long slits. 5.lemon juice -1 tsp or to taste 6.salt to taste 7.dhania leaves- finely chopped for garnishing 8.oil - to fry (appx 2-3 tb sp) Instructions: 1.heat oil in a fry pan add chopped parasbi, little  salt, green chilly and fry till its crispy and light  brown. 2.In a serving bowl, add onion,grated coconut,  little salt, fried parasbi, dhania leaves and  lemon juice and mix well. 3.garnish with dhania leaves and serve. My Simple Fish Thali After a Long Time.. Bangada Tikhle , Bangda ( Mackerel ) n Bombil (Bombay Duck ) Fry , onion ..n...Rice.

 Bangda (Mackerel )Fish Tikhle Recipe... clean 4 Bangda fish & make 2 or 3 pieces ...add salt,haldi and keep aside  roast10-12 red Bedgi chillies in few drops of oil for 1 minute. grind 2tabsp grated coconut,red chillies,1.4tsp haldi,2-3 garlic cloves, 1/4 sp of Dhania  seeds, 3..4 Black pepper , 3 to4 Tirphala ,small ball of tamarind.make fine,smooth paste  with water. Boil ground masala, by adding some more water. add  Bangda pieces in it.. and boil it  for  5 minutes... sprinkle coconut oil on it..n cover it.curry is ready to serve.. cover with lid.
