My Thali Today.. Stufffed Brinjal ( Bharli Vangi ) , Dal Coconut Curry, French Beans Talasani , Prawns Fry, Jowar Bhakri...n...Rice

  Bharali Vangi with Prawns ((Stuffed Brinjals).. Recipe Give slit to 8-10 small purple round brinjals from top ,keep aside... mix 3-4 tabsp fresh grated coconut . 2 finely  chopped onions, 2-3 green chillies chopped  finely, lots of dhania leaves,1 tabsp goda masala  or( dhania jeera powder,little garam  masala,)1tabsp roasted ground nut powder,little  tamarind juice,jaggery,salt,1tsp red chilli  powder..stuff this masala in brinjals..  Mix this Onion stuffed masala with some  Prawns. make tadka of 2-3 garlic finely  chopped,rai,1/4tsp,hing ,haldi n pinch of red  chilli powder..add brinjals..n  remained stuffing  masala if you have. stir for few minutes,,add little water ,keep  lid.. cook it till brinjals get cooked..garnish with  Dhania  leaves..& serve.   Prawns Ghashi  Recipe.... 1. clean the Prawns.apply some salt & haldi. 2.grind coconut,dhania seeds,jeera,4to5 black  pepper,garlic,small piece of ginger ,haldi,&  kashmiri chilli powder or whole red chillies as  per taste.. .make a fine paste. 3. in a pan take oil,add 1onion finely cut,fry till it  becomes little brown,add tomato finely cut,fry  for 3 to4 minutes.add green chilles,then add  ground coconut paste,kokum,then stir for some  time. finally add Prawns .mix it & add water as  required.boil it for 3to4 minutes till Prawns get  cooked. 4.Prawns  Ghashi is read to serve. My Thali...Mashroom Soang (Red Spicy Curry ) ,French Beans Koshimbir.(Salad), Tomato Saar with Coconut milk , Phulka , ...n...Rice

  Mashroom Soang .. Recipe... wash &clean mashrooms.make pieces. in a pan  add some coconut oil or any other oil.add  finely  chopped onions.. fry till soft &till it gets  slight  brown colour..add red chilli powder ,imli  juice,salt,& stir it..add mashroom pieces in it  &little water..stir again..boil &make till it gets  little dry..mashroom soang is ready to serve..  it can be made with boiled potatoes,or  prawns,or white radish instead of mashrooms. FRENCH BEANS KOSHIMBIR Recipe.. My Thali...Garlic Tadka Thin Dali Saar , Ghosalya or Dodkyachi Upakari.... (Ridge Gourd Bhaji ), Zatpat Chicken liver Masala, Rice Vadi Fry, Phulka ....n....Rice.

  Garlic Tadka Thin Dali Saar... Recipe.. Pressure cook 1 4 cup Toor Dal  till Dal cooks  very soft.. then mash it or mix it till no  Dal  grain remains.  Add more water as much you need.. keep for  boiling..add salt in it.. add haldi in it.. mix it.. boil  it properly.. Add Long pieces of Green Chilli  while boiling Dal. keep the thickness of Dal as you like.I added  more water to make it thin Saar. Make tadka with Ghee add cushed lots of Garlic  n Whole Red Chilli pieces ..Fry till Garlic  gets slight Brown..add tadka in Dal..  Lasun Tadka Dali Saar is ready to serve. Ghosalya Upakari.... Today I made onion tambli means just ,made  fine paste with fresh coconut,some red  whole chillies,&small piece of tamarind..  After making fine paste lastly I added 1onion  pieces,& small ginger,1tabsp  dahi.,salt.&again ground it jst for few seconds.. we can add water as required..no need of  heating it.. My Thali Today.....Phodniche Varan , Palak Patal Bhaji.. or Spinach n Groundnuts Curry...( No Garlic or Onion or any masala powder.), RawKeli Phodi , Raw Keli skin or peels Chutney...n...Rice

Phodniche Varan... Recipe.... Cook 1 cup of Toordal with adding water hing,  haldi n littke of ghee in a pressure cooker.. cook it till very soft.. then mix it properly so that no  dal  grain will be seen.. Then make dry grind n make coarse paste  grated sukha khopra , garlic cloves, n green  chilies.. n keep it aside.. Make takdka with ghee or oil..add rai, jeera,  currypatta,  then add 1 finely chopped  tomato..saute till it  becomes slightly soft for 2 to 3 minutes..  add little of red chilli powder , then add ground dry paste.. saute for few  minutes.. then add cooked mashed dal.. add water as   needed, add dhania leaves,  add salt n gud as per taste..boil nicely for 5  minutes keeping lid on it.. then garnish with  dhania leaves n serve . My Thali...Andhra Type Tadka Dal...my way.., Andhra Style Stuffed Baingan ( Brinjal ) with Green Masala , Tomato n Onion salad, Papad n Rice -Onion Vadi Fry...n....Rice.

  Andhra Type Tadka Dal...my way.. Recipe... Pressure cook 1 Cup Toor Dal  till Dal cooks very soft..  then mash it or mix it till no  Dal grain remains.  Add water as much you need..  keep for boiling..add salt in it....  add 2 Green Chillies ,mix it.. boil it properly..  keep the thickness of Dal as you like. Make tadka with Ghee or oil..add mustard seeds,  jeera, udid dal, curry patta,  add cushed lots of  Garlic , Whole Red Chilli pieces ..Fry till Garlic  gets slight Brown...add some Haldi...fry it .add  tadka in Dal.. Garnish with lots of Dhania leaves.. Tadka Dal is ready to serve. Tomato n Onion salad.. Recipe.. Mix chopped Tomato ,n chopped Onion.. add salt, chopped Green Chilli , Black Pepper  Powder , n Dhania leaves. Mix it together nicely..  Simple Salad is ready to serve.  Chicken Curry with Coconut milk.. Recipe.. Its a Mangalorean style Chicken curry with a flavour of coconut milk.not too spicy but very tasty as the coconut milk blends well with our spices. Ingredients: 1. chicken- 850gms/1kg 2. onions - 4-5 3. tomatoes - 2-3 medium sized 4. ginger-garlic paste(2inch ginger piece,7-8 big cloves of garlic) 5. whole garam masala -(5-6cloves,2-3 green cardamom,small piece cinnamon,1-4 tsp badishep(saunf),1/4 tsp black pepper,1/2 tsp jeera) 6.pudina(mint leaves)- 6-8 leaves (optional) 7.green chillies -2-3 8.dhania leaves - handful 9.salt to taste 10.red chilly powder - 1tsp appx or as per taste 11.haldi -1/4 tsp 10.coconut milk - 1/2 -1 cup OR coconut milk powder - 7-8 tb sp 11.Dahi..2tabsps. 1. My Sunday Thali ...Tingalorya Bendi (white Navy beans red curry) , Coconut Tambli ( with onion,ginger)... (Thand Kadhi ) , Red Pumpkin Raita... Lal Bhoplyache Raita, Jumbo or Tiger Prawns Rawa Fry..n...Rice

  Tingalorya Bendi (white Navy beans red curry). Recipe.. soak white beans for 4hours.. cook it in pressure  cooker till soft.. grind red whole chillies,some cooked   beans,1tabsp.fresh grated coconut,little  Imli(tamarind)..make a fine paste.. then add tirfal seeds in it  ( this is optional..  you can skip it. ) & grind it 1 more time..  mix this masla with cooked beans,add salt..give a nice boil..  make tadka of oil & lots of garlic.. add it in curry..
