My Thali .... Mangalorian Fish Phanna Upkari , Bhendi Dry Sabji , Phodni Varan, Bangda Fish Fry ,Jowar Bhakri ...n...Rice.
Recipe...
Take 250 gms small Bhendi n keep it full..give one slit to them .
chop finely 1 big onion.
Make small pieces of green mirchi 2. Chop finely 4 to 5 garlic cloves..
In a pan or kadai take 2 to 3tabsps of oil....add chopped green chillies n chopped garlic.. then add choped onion, fry for few minutes..
Add chopped Bhendi in it.. stir it..
Add some Haldi, pinch of red chilli powder ,Kitchen King Masala ,salt ,stir it for few minutes..cover for 2 to 3 minutes..
then remove the lid n fry it till all stickiness of Bhedi disappears.. n Bhendi is nicely fried with onion n all..
Garnish it with Dhania leaves n serve.
Phodni Varan..
Recipe...
Pressure cook 1 Cup Toor Dal till Dal cooks very soft.. then mash it or mix it till no Dal grain remains.
Add water as much you need.. keep for boiling..add salt in it.... mix it.. boil it properly.. keep the thickness of Dal as you like.
Make phodni with Ghee ..add mustard seeds, jeera, green chilli add cushed lots of Garlic n
Whole Red Chilli pieces ..Fry till Garlic gets slight Brown...add some Haldi..add tomato
pieces (optional)..fry it .add it in Dal.. Garnish with Dhania leaves..
Phodni Varan is ready to serve with Rice
Bangda Fish Fry...
Recipe...
Clean all the Fish.. make slits to Bangda.
Apply haldi..salt..red chilli powder. N some crushed Ajwain.
Marinate for 1 hour.
In a pan heat some coconut oil or any oil..heat it..keep Bangdas in the oil
then shallow fry it from both sides..
