My Sunday Thali... Prawns, Drumsticks n Kairi Ghashi ,Kelphulachi Bhaji or Talasani. ( Banana Flower Sabji ) ,Tomato santosh, Kakdi Tomato Salad , Multi Grain Chapati,...n.Rice.


 


Prawns, Drumsticks n Kairi Ghashi 

Recipe....

1. clean the Prawns.apply some salt & haldi.

Make long pieces of Drumsticks, n long pieces of Kairi.

Cook Drumsticks adding with some water n salt..when half done add kari pieces, add 1/2 

It onion chopped..and cook it till all gets cooked in between  add Prawns, ginger cut , n 2 

green chillies in it.. n cook it together.

In few drops of oil add 1tabsp.of dhania seeds n 7to8 methi seeds..5to 6 red bedgi chillies.

Roast slightly.

grind coconut,roasted masala,haldi with some water.make fine paste.

 then add ground coconut paste in the cooked prawns mixture.boil it nicely, 

adjust salt as per taste. Keep the ghashi thick as much as you need.

 in a pan take oil,add 1onion finely cut,fry till it becomes little brown.

Add in in Ready Ghashi..mix it n keep the lid .

Garnish with some dhania leaves.

 Ghashi is read to serve.





Kelphulachi Bhaji or Talasani .. ( Banana Flower Sabji )..

1st we have to clean n take flowers of kelphul from inside of pink cover of kelphul.

Remove 1st outer cover  of Banana flower (which is pink or red colour skins), 

separate the inner  white yellow long flowers.. then you will see one thick stem in every flower that you have to remove n throw.

Wash the white flowers  and chop the flowers . Go on repeating this step till you get very soft 

yellow covering which is chopable.n now you cannt open it to get flowers from it..chop finely this Part too.

Keep it in some buttermilk mixed with water n salt .

Keep soaked in it overnight in the fridge.

Method 

Heat oil in pan add crushed peeled Garlic, Whole red chilli, haldi,Saute for 2-3 minutes.

Now add drained chopped  kelful, salt and mix well. Add 1/2 cup water.,some gud as per taste, 

little of red chilli powder.

Let it cook for 10 minutes On a low flame, sitr fry it till all water evaporates  till it turn slightly 

crunchy




Tomato santosh..

Ingredients: 


1. Red ripe Tomatoes - 7-8 finely chopped

2. Green chilly - 2 medium spicy long slits.

3. Red chilly powder - 2 tsp.

4. turmeric - 1/4 tsp

5. Jaggery - 2-3 tbsp

6. salt as per taste.

7. oil for tadka - 2 tbsp

8. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp

9. hing - 1/2 tsp.

10. roasted groundnut powder

Instructions: 


1. In a fry pan make tadka of oil, mustard seeds, hing, turmeric, red chilly powder.

2. Add the finely chopped tomatoes and green chillies.

3. Add salt and jaggerry and stir well.

4. cover with lid and cook on medium flame for appx 15 mins.

5.add 1tabsp.of goundnut powder..mix it nicely..let it become fully dry.

5. tomato Santosh is ready to serve.

Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole With coconut Garlic Chutney For Breakfast..

 Lacy Neer Dosa or Panpole.. Here is recipe. Ingredients... Rice...1 cup Fresh Grated Coconut.. 1/2 cup. Sugar.. 1 tsp.(optional ) Salt.. as per taste. Water...as needed. Oil..For Frying Dosa Method... 1-soak rice for 3-4 hours in water. 2-grind rice,grated coconut,salt and sugar(optional )with water in a fine paste. 3-add some water and make that paste thin to spread dosas. 4-take non stick tawa and spread thin dosas on it 5-apply some oil on tawa to take out dosas easily. Coconut Garlic chutney.. Grind fresh 1 cup fresh grated Coconut ,  4 to 5 Garlic cloves, small piece of chinch (Imli) 2 or 3 Whole Red Chillies n salt with some  water. Chutney is ready to serve.

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney)

Rice Oondi (Undi) & Lasun (Garlic) Gojju (Chutney). Recipe.... Ingredients.. Rice Idli Rawa...2 cup Fresh Grated Coconut... 1/2 cup.. (4to 5 tabsps) Water...4 cups. For Tadka.. Oil.. 2 tabsps. Rai..1/2 tsp. Curry patta.. 8 to 10 Whole red chilli..2 or 3 Hing..1/4 tsp. Salt...as psr taste or minimum 1tsp. Sugar..1tsp.  Method.. Wash 1 wati idli rice rawa & keep. make tadka of oil,rai,red chillies,curry  patta,& hing. then add water .. while boiling add rawa,2 to 3 tabsp.grated  coconut..salt, sugar. mix it.& make it dry  like upma.. then make round undies with hand..make a  small whole in the middle.. steam it like idlis..undies r ready to serve... Serve it with Lasun Gojju. Lasun (Garlic ) Gojju ( Chutney) Recipe... Grind Grated fresh coconut 1cup with garlic 3..chinch small 2 pieces ,  3whole red  chillies & salt as per taste with little  water. sprinkle some coconut oil on it. (This is optional)
