Shev Batata Poori...not Poori but on Monaco Biscuits...
Recipe..
In this dish I have used Monaco Biscuits instead
of Fried Pooris.
Made 2 types of chutneys..
Green Chutney..
Grind together 1cup Dhania leaves, 1/2 cup
Pudina leaves, 5to 6 green chillies, 5to6 garlic
cloves, 1 inch ginger, with some salt n water as
needed. Grind it in fine paste..
Keep it in a bowl.
Sweet Imli Chutney..
Recipe..
Soak 1/2 cup or less as you need Imli on hot
water for 15 to 20 minutes.
Then remove if any seeds r there..
In a grinder add this imli paste, 1/2 cup dates
soaked in water n removevits seeds.you can use
dates paste if you have.. but you can even make
chutney only with imli skipping dates.
Add jaggeri more than 1 cup ..you can use less
or more as per your taste...add salt, red chilli
powder 1/2 tsp, dhania powdet 1tsp,
Grind all together adding some water if needed.
Make fine paste. Then strain it in a strainer to
remove all the threads or anynother particles of
imli n dates.
Remove it n keep it in a bowl.
Boil 2 potatoes ..remove skin n make very small
pieces or mash it .n take it in a bowl.
Chop finely 1onion n take it in a bowl.
Then arrange these Monaco biscuits in a plate..
Keep potato piece on it,.keep some chopped
onions on it..keep some very fine shev on it..
sprinkle green chutney n imli chutney on it..
then finally again sprinkle some shev on it..
garnish with dhania leaves n serve
immeditely..as Monaco Biscuit might get soggy
very fast.
