My Simple Thali Today....Bhendi- Small Onion sambhar...or Kholombo , Samudra Methi Batata Bhaji.. (Samudra methi is special small Green methi leaves grown in beach reti (sand) , Batata Talasani , Sun Dried Rice -Onion Vadi n Udid Vade Fry , Multigrain Chapati , .....n.....Rice..

  Bhendi- Small Onion sambhar...or Kholombo..  Recipe.. Cook tur dal in pressure cooker till very soft.  make pieces of,tomato ,& make round pieces of Bhendi.,small onions ,shallow fry Bhendi  1st then boil all the vegetables with some salt . For Sambhar masala...roast 1tabsp of dhania seeds,1/2tsp of jeera, 7-8 methi seeds,6-7  black pepper, 1tabsp.chana dal,1/2tsp of udid dal,5-6 curry patta, pinch haldi, hing, then  add 7-8 bedgi whole red chillies. finally add fesh 2tabsp of grated fresh coconut.roast it  properly in few drops of oil.make fine paste . ( Or you can use Readymade Sambhar  Powder instead of this ground fresh masala..) add some imli juice in it. or grind chinch with this..mix mashed cooked tur dal, this  ground masala or Sambhar Powder. add water, add cooked vegetables. add some salt  ,gud .boil it properly. then add some dhania leaves. make tadka with oil,rai,curry patta,  red chilli, &hing n some Sambhar p...

Spicy Chicken Curry... Yummy, tasty curry...

 Soicy Chicken Curry... Recipe... Ingredients. Chicken...1... 1kg. Curds...1 cup... Red chilli powder..1tabsp. Haldi...1tsp. Salt ..as per taste.. Black Pepper.. 5to 6 Shaan Chicken masala powder.. 1tsp. Chaat masala... 1/4 tsp. Oil... 3to 4 tabsps. Onion..3 ..chopped. Tomato..2 chopped 2 inch Ginger ,8to 10 garlic n 3 green chillies  pastel... 2tabsps. Dhania leaves... Chopped handful. Method.. Wash n clean chicken pieces.. Add salt, chaat masala, Shaan chicken masala  powder, red chilli powder, haldi, whisked curds  And ginger ,garlic n green chilli paste.. Keep it for 1hour for marinate. Then in pressure cooker add little oil.. add  whole black Pepper. add 1 chopped onion ..fry it.. when it is brown  add tomato ,n dhania leaves..fry it till soft . add chicken pieces. Saute for a while.. add some water.. then cook  till 2 whistles.  keep its marinated extra masala aside to add  later. Then in kadai..add oil.. when heated add  remaining...

My Thali... Venti Menas (Alu Stems Saar).., Alu Paanachya Gathi chi Talasani. ( Tera Paana chya Gathi chi Bhaji ), Tisrya Malavani Sukke... Shells sukka... Neer Dosa or Paanpole,...n....Rice.

Venti Menas (Alu Stems Saar).. Recipe.. its very easy, remove thin skin from alu stems.make long pieces, add water 1 or 2 kokum..crushed garlic.green chilli long cut.. Add salt.,little gud,.boil it till stems get soft. it needs only 3 to 5 minutes. then add tadka with ghee .,lots of crushed garlic,.n whole red chilli . .stems saar is b teady to serve. Alu Paanachya Gathi chi Talasani. ( Tera Paana chya Gathi chi Bhaji ) Recipe... Wash n clean tera paan means alu bhaji leaves. Lkeep it for drying..  It shudm be slightly dried then make knots of it..  Then in pressure cooker make tadka with little more of oil.. add lots of Crushed Garlic ,  red whole chillies , themn after frying add chilli powder, haldi, salt in it.. and add gathis..  Add little of sugar or gud as per taste..mix it nicely add imli juice in it.. Add very little of  water n cook it only for 1 whistle. Talasani is ready to serve. Neer Dosa or Paanpole Recipe... 1-soak rice for 3-4 hours in water. gr...

My Thali Today....Palak Gargatta , Tingalorya Bendi(white beans red curry). Cauliflower n Potato Bhaji. Chapati....n....Rice.

Palak Gargatta...  This is  a Maharashtrian Side Dish which goes very well with Rotis,   Steamed Rice, or Bread. Recipe.. Ingredients....  Fresh Palak (Spinach )...1 Bunch or 1.1/2 to  2 cups of finely chopped. Toor Dal... 3/4 th cup. Chana Dal.. 2 tabsps. Ground nuts...1 to 2 tabsps..as per taste. Green Chillies.... 4 to 5 as per taste. Garlic... 7to 8 cloves. Salt.. as per Taste.or 1/2 tsp. Haldi..1/2 tsp. Tomato....1 Medium..chopped Gud.. Small piece. Besan..1 tsp.full. Oil ..1n 1/2 tabsps.for Tadka. Rai.. 1/2 tsp. Jeera.. 1/2 tsp. Curry patta.. 8 to 10  Hing... 1/4 tsp. Method... Wash both Toor dal n Chana dal properly.. add groundnuts in it.. then add chopped  Tomato in it..  Take it in 1 separate vessel of pressure cooker. Add water as needed to cook it. Bread Usli or Bread Upma for Breakfast....

Bread Usli or Bread Upma.... Recipe.. Ingredients.. Bread slices ..8to 10 or Pavs..5 to 6 Onion..1 big. Oil..2 tabsps. Mustard seeds..1/4 tsp. Udid dal...1/2 tsp. Curry patta..6to8 Green chillies..2 chopped Red whole chilli.. 2  Haldi..1/2 tsp. Salt as oer taste. Sugar..as per taste. Dhania..as needed. Fresh grated coconut...2tabsps.  Method... Make pieces of bread or soft Pavs.. make medium pieces.make pieces woth hands. You  can use any left over or fresh pavs. Chop onions, chop green chillies, dhanai leaves. In a pan or kadhai take some oil add tadka things like mustard seeds, udid dal, curry  patta, red chillies , hing , add onions when tadka is ready then fry it slightly till onions  become soft n slightly brown.in mean while add chopped green chillies , n salt n  haldi..add some sugar if you like .this is optional. Then mix it nicely.. if you like soft usli add 1piece of  tomato chopped. But I like crunchy  so I didnt add it. Then mix it nic...

My Sunday Thali... Prawns, Drumsticks n Kairi Ghashi ,Kelphulachi Bhaji or Talasani. ( Banana Flower Sabji ) ,Tomato santosh, Kakdi Tomato Salad , Multi Grain Chapati,...n.Rice.

  Prawns, Drumsticks n Kairi Ghashi  Recipe.... 1. clean the Prawns.apply some salt & haldi. Make long pieces of Drumsticks, n long pieces of Kairi. Cook Drumsticks adding with some water n salt..when half done add kari pieces, add 1/2  It onion chopped..and cook it till all gets cooked in between  add Prawns, ginger cut , n 2  green chillies in it.. n cook it together. In few drops of oil add 1tabsp.of dhania seeds n 7to8 methi seeds..5to 6 red bedgi chillies. Roast slightly. grind coconut,roasted masala,haldi with some water.make fine paste.  then add ground coconut paste in the cooked prawns mixture.boil it nicely,  adjust salt as per taste. Keep the ghashi thick as much as you need.  in a pan take oil,add 1onion finely cut,fry till it becomes little brown. Add in in Ready Ghashi..mix it n keep the lid . My Thali .... Mangalorian Fish Phanna Upkari , Bhendi Dry Sabji , Phodni Varan, Bangda Fish Fry ,Jowar Bhakri ...n...Rice.

Recipe. Bhendi..Onion Bhaji... Recipe... Take 250 gms small Bhendi n keep it full..give one slit to them . chop finely 1 big onion. Make small pieces of green mirchi 2. Chop finely 4 to 5 garlic  cloves.. In a pan or kadai take 2 to 3tabsps of oil....add chopped green chillies n chopped garlic.. then add choped onion, fry for few minutes.. Add chopped Bhendi in it.. stir it..  Add some Haldi, pinch of red chilli powder ,Kitchen King Masala ,salt ,stir it for few minutes..cover for 2 to 3 minutes.. then remove the lid n fry it till all stickiness of Bhedi disappears.. n Bhendi is nicely fried with onion n all..
