Khaman Dhokla...Home made instant, soft n spongy

 Khaman Dhokla ..   Recipe... Besan...1cup Rava..1tabsp. Eno..1tsp. Water..1cup or little more or  less as per need. Salt..as per taste Sugar..1 tsp..  Green chilli n ginger crushed  or paste... 1tsp. Haldi..pinch or as needed. Lemon juice..1sp.( you can    use 2 tabsps of dahi instead  of lemon juice.) Ingredients for tadka.. Oil..2tabsp. Mustard seeds..1tsp. Til..1/2tsp. Hing..1/4 tsp. Curry leaves.. 5to6 Green chillies..3 to 4 4 tabsp.of water mixed with  2 tsp.sugar  Dhania leaves..to garnish. Method.. In a bowl add Besan, Rawa, salt, sugar, haldi.. mix it nicely. Add water little by little as needed n make  thick batter ready. mix it nicely. Add green chilli n ginger paste, lemon juice. mix it. Add Eno.n mix batter nicely.  Beat it nicely n make batter smooth . Spread this batter on a greased plate. Make steamer or big kadai with hot water ready.. Then keep this plate with batter to steam. Steam it for 10 minutes keeping lid on it. Then switch off the gas. Let it cool. Then cut in

My Lunch Thali.... Batata Soang..Red ,Spicy curry ,Vaali n Dal Ambat ( Mangalorian Curry with Toor Dal n Malabar Spinach or Mayalu or Basale ) , Karli Fish n Prawns Fry.....n....Rice

 Batata Soang....Red ,Spicy curry Recipe..  Boil the 4  potatoes in the cooker .. Remove skin.make pieces.  Chop 2 onions finely . Take 3 to 4 tabsps of coconut oil or any other oil  in a pan. add chopped onions.fry till light brown . Add 1/2tsp.of haldi, 2 tabsps.of kashmiri red  chilli powder,.add1 tabsp.of tamarind (imli)  juice. Add salt,as per taste...add pinch sugar if you like  (this is optional)..fry for 2 minutes.. Add potato pieces..mix it..add little water ..boil  it till potato gets mixed with masala. Potato Soang is ready to serve.  Vaali n Dal Ambat ( Mangalorian Curry with  Toor Dal n Malabar Spinach or Mayalu or Basale ) Recipe.... Boil washed N chopped Green Vaali bhaji with  some salt and water.  Cook 1cup Toor Dal in pressure cooker till very  soft. then mash it. add cooked bhaji in it. Mangalore Buns... Hot , Puffed , Yummy Buns For Breakfast..

  Mangalore Buns... Hot, Puffed ,Yummy Buns.. Ingredients.. Riped Bananas Mashed... 2 big Curd .. 4 tabsps. Salt ...1tsp or more if you want Sugar or Gud.. I have used Sugar. ..5 tabsps. Maida ..2cups.. you might some more while  kneading. Baking  Soda ..1/2 tsp.(Half tsp.) Preparaion.. Take maida in a mixing bowl..keep it aside. Mash well riped Bananas with hands or fork Add Sugar ...You can use Jaggery instead of Sugar.. Add cooking soda..salt n  curds in Mashed  Bananas ..  Mix it nicely. Add this to the Maida make a  dough. Knead soft Dough. Keep it over night  next day .Make small thick Pooris and deep fry  in hot oil..  If you use jaggery it will be more brown after  frying.. Mangalore Buns r ready to serve.

My Thali... Whole Masoor Amti , Cauliflower Bhaji ...Dry Sabji., Red Pumpkin Raita ( Lal Bhoplyache Raita ) , Palak Patal Bhaji , Boneless Fish Fry... n... Rice.

  Whole Masoor Amti....... Recipe.. Pressure cook whole masoor with some salt &  water.. then take some oil..make tadka of rai,jeera,  chopped garlic,haldi,chilli powder ,goda masala  or garam masala,or amti masala.. then fry finely chopped onins,chopped  tomatoes,green chillies.. add cooked  masoor,adjust salt,kokum,or Imli juice..little  gud..stir it nicely.. boil it till it gets well mixed.. make thick as per taste..garnish with dhania  leaves..and serve . Cauliflower Bhaji ...Dry Sabji. Recipe...  In a pan take 3tabsps.of oil.. add chopped finely  onion ..saute for some time  then add chopped garlic n ginger about 1 tabsp..   saute.. Add Green chillies 2 , add Chopped Tomato..  saute it..  Then add Haldi ,Red chilli powder , dhane Jeera  powder as per taste...I have added  Maggie Masala Magic powder 1 small satchet.. Mix it ..Add Cauliflower pieces , fry for somtime. Then add salt ..add very little water.. Keep lid on it.cook it till cauliflower gets well  cooked.. Garnish with
