My Lunch Thali.... Batata Soang..Red ,Spicy curry ,Vaali n Dal Ambat ( Mangalorian Curry with Toor Dal n Malabar Spinach or Mayalu or Basale ) , Karli Fish n Prawns Fry.....n....Rice


 Batata Soang....Red ,Spicy curry


Recipe.. 

Boil the 4  potatoes in the cooker ..


Remove skin.make pieces. 


Chop 2 onions finely .


Take 3 to 4 tabsps of coconut oil or any other oil 

in a pan. add chopped onions.fry till light brown .
Add 1/2tsp.of haldi, 2 tabsps.of kashmiri red 

chilli powder,.add1 tabsp.of tamarind (imli) 

juice.


Add salt,as per taste...add pinch sugar if you like 

(this is optional)..fry for 2 minutes..


Add potato pieces..mix it..add little water ..boil 

it till potato gets mixed with masala.


Potato Soang is ready to serve.





 Vaali n Dal Ambat ( Mangalorian Curry with 

Toor Dal n Malabar Spinach or Mayalu or Basale )


Recipe....

Boil washed N chopped Green Vaali bhaji with 

some salt and water.

 Cook 1cup Toor Dal in pressure cooker till very 

soft. then mash it.

add cooked bhaji in it.

In tadka pan fry less than 1/4 methi seeds in few 

drops of oil add 3-4 whole red bedgi 

chillies in it.

grind together fresh 1 cup grated coconut,small 

piece of imli , 1/tsp haldi,and fried methi 

& red chillies in to a fine paste. 

add this ground masala in dal and green leaves 

vaali mixture.

add salt as per taste. , pinch sugar(optional).boil 

it.

then make tadka of oil and add 1finely chopped 

onion.fry till brown and add in curry.

Ambat is ready to serve.




 Karli Fish n Prawns Fry


Recipe...

Clean n wash fish pieces n prawns..

Mix salt ,haldi, garlic n green chilli paste,
 
Red chilli powder , lemon juice n oil.

Apply all this nicely to fish pieces n Prawns... 

keep for some time.

Then roll it in the mixture of  Rice powder, Fine 

Rawa ,n Rice powder.

Shallow fry it with some oil. Fry it till crispy.

Fish Fry is ready to serve.

My Thali...Grated Suran Andhra Bhaji.. Yam Sabji , French Beans Kismur , Vilayati Dal , (Simple Dal Varan with Kanda, lasun ) , Gongura Chutney.. Tangy n Spicy Andhra Chutney....n...Rice.

  French Beans Kismur Recipe.. Ingredients: 1.parasbi(french beans)- 250gms,finely chopped. 2.onion -2 small, finely chopped. 3.grated coconut - 3/4-1 wati 4.green chillies-2 long slits. 5.lemon juice -1 tsp or to taste 6.salt to taste 7.dhania leaves- finely chopped for garnishing 8.oil - to fry (appx 2-3 tb sp) Instructions: 1.heat oil in a fry pan add chopped parasbi, little  salt, green chilly and fry till its crispy and light  brown. 2.In a serving bowl, add onion,grated coconut,  little salt, fried parasbi, dhania leaves and  lemon juice and mix well. 3.garnish with dhania leaves and serve.
