SHRIKHAND

Recipe Description: Creamy,very tasty homemade shrikhand.very simple and easy to make.can eat with puris, chapatis or simply eat as dessert. Ingredients: 1. readymade full cream yoghurt - 1 kg 2. sugar powder - appx 8-10 tb sp 3. kesar milk masala or dry fruit powder - appx 1/2 tb sp. 4. saffron (kesar) - strands 7-8 5. cardamom(eliachi) & nutmeg(jaifal) powder - 1/2 t sp 6. soaked almond and pista's finely sliced for garnishing. Instructions: 1. put the yoghurt in a muslin cloth,wrap it tight, hang it and let all the water strain out.keep it hung for at least  7-8 hrs so that all the water dries off. 2. then put the hung curd in a bowl add powdered sugar and whisk it with hand blender / mixer till it gets  creamy. 3. then add kesar milk powder / dry fruit powder, cardamom and nutmeg powder and mix well. 4. then sprinkle saffron strands and garnish with sliced almonds and pistas. 5.shrikhand is ready to serve

Recipe Description: mouth watering,crispy dosas ..very easy to make and everybody loves it with lasun gojju Serves: 2-4 Ingredients: Panpole.. Rice-2cups coconut-1cup salt-as per taste sugar(optional)-very little water-to grind oil-to spread dosas on tawa Lasun gojju.. grated fresh coconut-2cups lasun(garlic)-3to4cloves red whole chillies-3-4 tamarind(chinch)-as per taste salt-as per taste water-to grind Instructions: Panpole 1-soak rice for 3-4 hours in water. 2-grind rice,grated coconut,salt and sugar(optional)with water in a fine paste. 3-add some water and make that paste thin to spread dosas. 4-take non stick tawa and spread thin dosas on it 5-apply some oil on tawa to take out dosas easily Lasun gojju 1-grind grated coconut,red chillies,tamarind(chinch),lasun,salt and water in a fine paste. 2-serve with panpole Category Course: Breakfast Lunch or Dinner Main Dish Diet Type: Dieting Highly Nutr

Extremely tasty & traditional aamchi style noodles.Looks and sounds difficult but actually very easy to make SHEVAI Serves: 4 Course: Breakfast / Lunch or Dinner / Main Dish Diet Type: Vegetarian Cook time: 30mins                                   Ingredients: 1)2 1/2 wati rice(soaked in 4 wati water for minimum 4-5 hrs) 2)Grated coconut 1 1/2 wati 3)salt to taste SWEET RASS 1. 1 grated coconut 2.jaggery a little more than 1 wati(variations according to taste) 3.elaichi powder 1 tsp or more Instructions: Shevai 1.grind soaked rice and grated coconut,with the same water in required quantity.make fine paste 2.Heat it on a pan on low flame add little salt,keep stiring all the time till the water evaporates and it becomes a thick dough and it should not stick to the hands and can be moulded into shapes easily 3.switch off the gas and let it cool for sometime. 4.then when its warm dip hands in water and make long or round balls accordingly

Aamchi Pancakes ..Soft n Spongy!!! Tastes best with Gharche Loni(Butter). Ingredients: 1.Rice - 2 cups 2.methi seeds - 1/2 to 3/4 th tsp. 3.curd / buttermilk - appx 1 cup 4.pohe- 1 cup 5.jaggery - 3/4 - 1 cup..as Per taste. 6.grated coconut - 1 cup 7.salt - 1/4th Tsp 8.turmeric(haldi)-  1/2 tsp. 9.oil - as needed. water to grind. 10.plain eno (fruit salt)- 1 tsp. Instructions: 1.Soak rice in water with methi seeds for a minimum of 4-5 hours. 2.wash pohe and keep aside. 3.grind the soaked rice, curd/buttermilk,pohe,jaggery,grated coconut,salt and haldi together with little water.make a smooth thick paste like idli batter. If you want to make cheppi Surnoli without jaggery then grind soaked rice , poha , coconut ,salt 1st..remove it n then add jaggeri n haldi in the mixer with remaining batter to make sweet Surnoli. 4.keep this batter to fermant for atleast 7-8 hours. 5.Add eno and mix well in the batter at the time of making
